I would loved to have seen this game also, right after the trade, but none of the five traded players will be playing since they have 48 hours before reporting to their teams and must pass medical examinations.

That is a really good game, but if what Spitfire said is true, I don't know why ESPN is still showing it will be the match of that trade. If they are not playing, they shouldn't do that.

I know about the medical exams but I'm not sure it happens during the trades going on in the season, since they were already playing for a team, I suppose they passed those tests already.

NBA TV just announced that Gary Payton (and i'm guessing the rest of the traded players as well) will be in attendance but will not suit up to play.

ESPN can't just up and change the TV schedule in one day, That would be a diservice to both teams and frankly a load of bullshit.

Considering test every time the players get traded they must pass the medical exam.

Looking at tonight squads it looks like Milwaukee should crush Seattle though. Seattle only has Shard and Barry, while Waukee has Cassell, Redd, Thomas, Kukoc, & Ant Mason.

It's not that they have to change the games, but they shouldn't keep saying they would play there, it's like the Yao-Shaq game, they stopped saying it was the second round the day they knew Shaq was not going to play, which was the same day of that game.

Ok, so there's no reason to watch that game, with the best players of both teams, who are not injured, not being allowed to play. They were even promoting that Payton, even he left Seattle, was going to play his 1000 game in there, they better decide what it will be,

He he Maja, I didn't watch that game like I said, but looks to me that not only he couldn't score 35 but the whole team almost didn't get to that mark themselves.

I would say he was just trying to impress everyone with all those fun passes, not looking, behind the back, he was having fun with the poor Bucks who at that time didn't have much but a bad shooting nite. Let's see after few games if he's still showing good stuff passing the ball tho, hopefully he does cause the Sonics have nobody else to take that position cause Ollie is not very effective to be starting.

Rumor has it that Sonics are planning to re-sign Gary Payton after the playoffs. lol, they said that they only traded him because they could get Ray Allen and let Payton play in the playoffs. Then they'll re-sign him again.

Yes, that was a joke. They did say they needed to get rid of Payton cause he would ask for a multiyear contract at the end of his where they were not sure he would last those. They needed to get someone soon and not losing him in the Market just like that without getting anything back. That's the reason why they traded him, reports said.
