He's not the one doing the damage. The guards are.

Gilbert Arenas comes from way out there, for the 3!! Arenas hit three straight 3s in the 4th quarter.

Knicks win 3rd Game. Davis scores 33. Garnett takes down 13. Arenas 3 from 3 in the fourth quarter.

The first half was as high-scoring game as any game we've come to see form these two teams, but the two teams tore down the boards in the second half scoring in amounts any showtime team would be proud of. The teams scored a combined 156 points in the second half alone. Warning: If you're a fan of great defense, this was not the game for you.

The game is run and gun. With Garnett at Center for the Knicks and Shaq at the 5 for the 76ers, the Knicks had the advantage in terms of tempo and speed. Shaq was alright the first half, already earning himself a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. But he did not have as good as a second half. The 76ers played right into the Knicks hands with the running game. Baron Davis and Gilbert Arenas would force turnovers in the backcourt, and Baron Davis reached double-digits in steals by the first half! Despite the tempo obviously being at the Knicks advntage, the 76ers hung in there and the game was close. The game was close early on in the 4th quarter and the Philadelphia 76ers had a 1 point lead, but then New York hit four 3s in a row(3 from Gilbert Arenas, 1 from Casey Jacobsen(the 2nd)) and took control of the game, never looking back.

Baron Davis was the Knicks high-man with 33 points, while the 76ers Doug Christie had another great game scoring a game-high 37 points. Shaquille O'Neal finished with 16 rebounds.

Knicks are now up 3-1 and look to close the Sixers out Thursday night back in New York City.

I'm using Andrew's sliders. You're right, I'm playing run and gun. I try to defend, but don't do that great a job of it and only really boggle down on defense at the end.

You're right about playing like the Suns.

But I didn't lose Game 4.

Doug Christie with the sweet reverse on his way to a 76er victory.

James' 3 lifts Philly to new life.

Sixers came out from the onset looking to take control of the game. Shaquille O'Neal had his best game of the series, scoring 26 points and being a force in the middle taking down 21 rebounds! Both teams fought back and forth and the score was close throughout. But with the game the game tied at 138 apiece, the 76ers point guard Mike James led his team to a game 6 hitting a three that sucked out the hearts of the Knick faithful and won the game.

In addition to the game winner, Mike James had a career-high 39 points. Knicks point guard Baron Davis had an even better night, scoring 40! That ties his career-high.

Game 6 will be Saturday at the Wachovia Center.

New York Knicks: Eastern Conference Champions

Early on, it looked like there was going to be a game 7 and both teams were going to be making the trip up north to New York, but a 49 point third quarter including 8 from Baron Davis and a buzzer beater to close the quarter, gave the Knicks an 8-point leading heading into the fourth quarter.

The Sixers fought hard, but the Knicks were too much. Gilbert Arenas hit a perfect five of five from the 3-pt line.

Shaquille O'Neal was a presence inside, taking down 15 rebounds. Mike James had a double-double, 34 points and 10 assists, continuing his good play.

Who won the West, Seattle or Golden State?
Also I think you should do a Finals preview including the full rosters of both teams since there were so many trades you know. Then we'll know who should win based on the roster and we know what to expect.

Hmm, it looks like Seattle pulled a Knicks move when New York made it to the finals as an 8th seed in 1999. I think you will definitely win because Seattle is probably no match for KG and B-Diddy.

It's the first time I see your dynasty and let me say, I love the recaps. It's strange to see a Finals between Knicks and Sonics! :?
