I had Syracuse in the Final Four.
:(

same :x

good call on those dukies being drafted all in the 1st round, cambymatt. wow shows what accomplishment it was for that uconn team to beat them in the title game that year.

And down goes Wake. I think I'm about to cry right now.

I'm glad I didn't go with Wake winning it all....go OSU!!!

EDIT: After looking at the brackets, I don't think I'm gonna be taking this out....I went for a few too many upsets....now my bracket is looking pretty sorry....I'm just hoping I can gain some respectability

Sun Mar 20, 2005 6:53 pm

with wake forest getting knocked off my bracket looks real bad. still now that wake is gone . the huskies only real threat is GT or Louiville and if they get pass that i think they can take on West Virginia or Texas Tech. This year's NCAA tourney is very interesting alot of top seeds going out early. 8-)

Sun Mar 20, 2005 7:56 pm

Oklahoma was knocked out today by the Utes... I thought they would win easily...

Sun Mar 20, 2005 11:24 pm

Bogut had 7 assists (Y)

I forgot I put Alabama in the final, I knew there was one pick I fucked up accidentely but I was using HTML and I couldn't be stuffed loading it up again to fix it

Just noticed, one guy, two accounts, two different winners picked (N)

Mon Mar 21, 2005 3:44 am

yeah i did that on accident my bad. i created a 2nd entry on accident. for some reason i couldnt get back into my 1st entry and i was thinking i didnt save my bracket so i made a 2nd one with UW winning the whole thing. then i realize i had my 1st entry there. not like the 2nd entry matters im at the bottom. 8-)

Mon Mar 21, 2005 5:10 am

Wow, I had Wake in the final 4, Syracuse/Kansas in the elite 8, Oklahoma in the sweet 16, I had a lot less first round upsets then there were, things aren't looking too great on my bracket :\

Mon Mar 21, 2005 6:07 am

UConn lost

Mon Mar 21, 2005 11:00 am

and the upsets continue  (Y)

Mon Mar 21, 2005 11:05 am

GT got crushed

Mon Mar 21, 2005 12:42 pm

my final four that i predicted was

illinois
wake
north carolina
syracuse

yea... not workin out too well

but from the beginning what i was HOPING for was

oklahoma state
louisville
north carolina state
syracuse (since they have lost i am rooting for utah)

man! i should have picked with my heart instead of my head!

Mon Mar 21, 2005 1:06 pm

I had OSU v Duke in championship game with OSU winning it all....still a possibility with both still in there....my other 2 Final Four teams (Wake & UConn) are gone....my bracket has been busted pretty badly....

looking at everyone's brackets, I think Matthew has best chance of taking the win this year....

Wed Mar 23, 2005 12:28 pm

X, there is no way osu will make it to the final game

Wed Mar 23, 2005 10:54 pm

stranger things have happened....it is March Madness after all....

Thu Mar 24, 2005 12:24 am

Too bad Stanford exited in the 1st Round. Always loved that school, academic and sporting excellence combined. Go Cardinal, next year all the way!!!

Thu Mar 24, 2005 6:43 am

you're my boy, whoever s. calhoun is. haah we're the only ones with illinois going all the way...

so which country does this bogut guy belong to?? i'm reading his family was originally from croatia and that he idolizes the late drazen petrovic. but his family moved to australia for whatever reasons

Thu Mar 24, 2005 2:09 pm

He's Australian, played for the Australian Olympic team not to mention countless junior Australian team. It's a common thing for European immigrants to come here and declare themselves Aussie, that being said I don't know if he was born here or in Croatia.

Fri Mar 25, 2005 11:31 am

Bogut, after being cut from a rep team got a european coach whop taught him like a european man.. now hes better shooting jumpers tahn goign down low...

Fri Mar 25, 2005 11:49 pm

arghhhh!!!! bloody Salim Stoudamire finished me and my bracket off

ahh well, good luck to you other guys....I'll just sit at the bottom of the standings and make you other guys look better

Sat Mar 26, 2005 6:37 am

dammit .. UW got destroyed. i guess they couldnt figure out that cheezy Zone Defense..

Sat Mar 26, 2005 11:49 pm

it's been an interesting tourney....I'm not surprised Washington didn't make it to Elite Eight....they were good, just not great....good to see the ACC go down....looks like negative ball gets you far, how many times have Wisconsin made it at least to the Sweet 16 in the last 5 years?!? just a guess, but it's been at least 3 times....I now think the champion will come from the Illinois-Arizona matchup....I'm liking the Wildcats' chances....should be interesting....

I also saw some highlights of Bogut and the Utes against Kentucky on Sports Tonight....Bogut made a real nice handoff pass to a slasher....I never realised he was THAT good of a passer....he looks like he's got good fundamentals, great footwork....but I must say, he's not a great athlete which leads me to think guys like Chris Paul and Marvin Williams will be picked ahead of him....either way he's a top 3 pick.... (Y)

Sun Mar 27, 2005 3:55 am

so much for the powerful ACC conference. 3 big ten teams in the elite 8 (Y)
