Baker was traded to the Rockets.

And Thomas started as center Thursday vs. Philly.

Actually, these look like they are the rotations:
Starters:
Kurt Thomas
Sweetney
Tim Thomas :wall:
Crawford
Marbury

Then off the bench:
Malik Rose
Taylor
JYD/ Ariza
Penny

Then when Houston comes back, he is obviously subbing for either Crawford or Marbury. These lineups worked ok against the pacers, didnt they?

ok the knicks r gonn hav the like the 4th worst record anyways so they will hav a top 5 pick. those 2 draft picks are worthless wtf r u talkin about. spurs and suns picks? please... we rnt gettin SHIT wit that. and isiah said that his goal is for the future. malik rose and maurice taylor r decent role players nothing more. both will be added to the list of overpaid scrubs on the knicks bench. and who do they giv? nazr mohammed, a GOOD young player who stands at 7'0 and is the ONLY CENTER THAT THE KNICKS HAVE. almost avereaging a double double. do u realize that the knicks bigggest problem was that they had no center? so yea this really solves that problem doesnt it.gettin a couple undersized forwards. so who plays at c now... kurt thomas. who will back him up? jerome williams? malik rose? wow... thats gonna be fun to watch

overall horrible trade. not including the useless scrubs that had no impact like brewer... the trade is basically nazr for malik and maurice. i bet u maurice taylor has no impact watsoever on this team, and malik has less impact then nazr cause hes not big enough. seriously wat a fucken dumbass isiah is an idiot in the offseason hes prolly gonna build the team around marbury

as long as marbury is on this team we will lose... i dont care if hes puttin up #s. i havent heard a SINGLE UTTERANCE about him being sad/mad/angry/disappointed about the season. i see KG crying about a .500 season, i dont c marbury even MENTION anything about a 10 game below .500 season. as a leader of a team he has no winning character... hes the biggest loser. we need to trade him in the offseason but i bet that isiah will build pieces around him and forever we will be fucked until the man retires or kills himself

He needs to think less about scoring and worry more about passing the ball. The team does much better in games where he ends up with 15-20 points. Look at how many games they lost when he was shelling out those 30 point games.

He had 21 tonight and the Knicks won convincinly.

14 in the win vs. Milwauke and 17 in the win vs. the 76ers. Lost to the Pistons during that stretch, but they're just better.

The game the Knicks lost to the 76ers, Marbury had 32.

exactly

i was actually talkin about that wit a frend watchin the game tonight. wen he scores less he wins. wen he had that 30 point game streak goin they always lost... unlike AI who takes control and philly usually wins wen he was 40+ or 60  at least philly is .500 wen he scores a lot, unlike marbury. i mean its not really fair to compare because steph cant even hit the 40 mark, let alone 60 8-) however we kno marburys much better overall cause he IS the best pg in the nba... right...................................................................

2 game laker game is not over man i dont get how u blow a 11point lead in 1:30min..they bettr win in OT

but the knicks look better when marbury scores less than 20points or when he is not the leading scorer..

whew...well thats great news.
So yeah like I said, when Marbury isn't the leading scorer knicks do better.
Sweentney is doing good now since he been starting.
Maybe moving Muhammad was the right decision making Sweetney get a chance to start :?:

marbs had to go on those big scoring nites because someone had to step up while crawford had that foot then ankle injury and allan houston has been out for a while now.

who else should be shooting the ball when crawford has those 4-16 type games or TT is playing wih his head up his ass??

AirGordon, as much as you make sense, there is no logic when it comes to the knick haters. If Isiah drafted dwayne wade and traded for shaq, he'd still be hated.

EDIT-
New York is only 5 games back from the 8th seed.. and half a game back from new jersey who everyone thinks has a chance at the playoffs. If Allan Houston gets healthy they might have a shot at a lower seed.

And miss out on a lottery pick? No way. The rebuilding has to start now, or this team will continue to go around in circles. There's no shame in tanking the season - other teams have done it(Spurs).

Yea but hopefully knicks can build up on a win streak. They won 4 of the last 5 and durin the stretch Tim thomas is averaginging 20 ppg or so , somewhere around their. They got a livable schedule with a game against the Magic , Warriors , and Wizards. If they can win all 3 games that will be the boost of confidence they need.Afterwards they face Seattle(twice) , the Heat , the spurs , and the celtics . But after that theirs no real threat for the next 10 games when they face the cavs. They finish off the season against the Wizards but they only have about 7-10 hard games left . The rest should be easy even though i dont guarantee wins.

So is Steve Nash, So is Jason Kidd, so is Tracy Mcgrady, so is Paul Pierce, so is Kevin Garnett. You play to win the championship, so if he is a loser becuase of that, 90% of the league are losers too.
