Webber traded

Holy cow, Philadelphia now has the player that fills their weakest link in my opinion. With Webber this is championship caliber team if working right. If not this season then the next one. Korver and Iguodala are developing young players, Iverson and Webber at their peak. Theres still Dalembert issue but I believe Webber can fulfil that.

Impressive, go Sixers! Wished for your win last time you were in the finals, so lets do things better this season ;)

C-Webb is gonna change his jersey number, because Iguodola has already #4.

Things seem to be finally looking up for the Sixers fans like me :) . I just hope that Iverson and Webber can quickly gel together (as I'm sure they will eventually, it's just that Iverson has been used to BEING the Sixers, as appossed to being a PLAYER on the Sixers). I've always had a thought that Dalembert could be good, and with Korver+Igoudala developing I think the people here in Philly are drooling.

Couple years ago I might have said that this wont work, that Iverson cant really have another good guy by his side.

Now though he seems to have matured after all those tough years, and his FG has improved bigtime compared to last season.

Go Sixers!

I agree with that. And for anyone who disagrees, why else would the kings make the trade? I mean they have a winning record and are playoff bound. I live 30 min from sac so I get to hear all his whining and crying on the local Sac station, good ridence. I might actually root for the kings now that the big flopper (divac) & the plague (webber) is gone.

The Kings will be fine without Webber, especially since they pulled the best record without Webber last year or two. But, it's a bad trade for the Kings. They could've gotten a better player for Webber, instead of a handful of aging mediocre players.

Yeah, that's my only problem with the trade. They should have traded for someone that could just rebound the ball. They don't need any more shooters.

Who's going to be the starting PF now? who was it last year when they were #1 in the league and Webber was injured? Darius Songalia?

Darius Songalia would make a good PF anyway. He's fast and active, and I'd like to see him improve.

It'd be interesting to see what Kings fans would say about the trade. Waiting for some names that resemble sac-1 and cwebb and kings, etc.

i'm excited to see cwebb and AI on the same team. AI has never meshed well with another all star caliber but if there's one person who may actually make it happen, it's webber. he's a great talent and the key thing here is that he's UNSELFISH. i hope he stays healthy

songalia at PF for scrappy minutes... i like the idea (DONT START THOMAS). i think songalia is better suited to start because he is more of a team player. the kings already have 4 scoring options, just have a hustle-type player.
