Joel Przybilla - moving up!

Postby 8-Hype on Fri Feb 04, 2005 2:02 am

Even though he has a crazy name, he's one of my favourites right now. He doesn't shoot really well, but his rebound stats have really improved. In 7 of the last 8 games he had incredible double digits in rebounds, and a double-double in 4 of the last 8 games. What do you think?

From the Dan Dickau thread

Joel Przybilla has also been doing pretty good as a starter.

I picked him up in all of my deep fantasy leagues.

I saw him live at the Lakers game on Tuesday. He had an off game but man can he slice the lane. I think that is his game. If he cuts thru the lane and they find him he can finish. Stoud and Van Ex aren't the best passing guards and that might hurt him.

Imagine if he was on a run and gun team. I think he would flourish.
15 and 10 an night maybe?

Joel Pryzbilla has never been known for having any type of offensive skills outside of put backs, and layups or dunks, so he won't likely be a 15-10 guy. He can rebound, block shots, and get hustle points.

He will never be a 15 and 10 guy on Portland. But in a run and gun offense he could. (They would be all dunks and layups) He has scored some points lately.

I saw him last night against the Nuggets and was pretty good. He had great stamina, but his offensive awareness suck ass. He got the ball stripped by smaller Denver players at least 5 times in the post.
One thing that caught my attention is how much thinner K-Mart is!! I almost did not recognize him!! Is he on SlimFast or something???
