customizing a team's gear

hey guys, is there a simple way that you can change the shoes your ENTIRE team wears for home/away/alternate/retro jersey's all in one shot? instead of going through and making directories for every single player? someone help!

The only way I know is to edit the teamgear.dbf file. But this only applies to home/away shoe. If you want to have them the shoe you have downloaded, it's pretty easy for me.

can you point me to a tutorial for this or can you explain it yourself?
