I went to a shop the other day and they had stacks of retro jerseys... the material they were made out of was dodgy as all hell, and they cost $150 :eh: :?

That being said, they also had a Steve Nash Dallas jersey for sale, to go with the Steve Francis AND T-Mac Houston jerseys... all for sale at $80

One thing that pissed me off was when nike made 84 Jordan retros not so long ago the material and pricing was fucked up. The stiched ones were something like $100, but the ones that had screen printed logos cost $50 more because 'that's how they were made back in the day.'

Some of the material for retros is cheaper because they used that actual material back in the day. And they cost so much because of them having to buy the rights to making the jerseys. And that whole supply and demand thing.

That stuff is horrible, and it fades too quickly. I'd be happy to buy a Dr. J jersey if it didn't fall apart or change colours after a few months in the sun.

Do we get any "benefits"?

I like the orange Washington jersey. The Celtics and Wolves should wear retros, in my opinion.

Celtics? Are you trying to say that no team should wear retros by saying teh Celtics should since they never had another jersey. But if you are why mention the Wolves since they have had other jerseys? You confuse me.

I think he meant that he still didnt see the Celtics and Timberwolves play in retro jerseys and wants to see that. I remember in 1996/97 the Boston Celtics played in some retro jerseys against the Lakers who were wearing the blue retro jerseys which they had last year.
