Its great to see the bulls notching some wins. The bulls bandwagon is starting to pick up pace again (Y).

Who would have ever thought it was a good idea to draft college players instead of a couple of highschool kids.

Don't forget that high-schooler in Chandler being fit and crashing those boards is really helping them too. It may not be as glamorous as the work the college boys have been doing, but it's been important to the team.

i think Bulls can surpass Washington only. Orlando and Indiana should stay above the Bulls, but they can surpass Washington but only temporarily until Hughes gets back

yeh definitely (Y)
another bonus is tyson beginning to embrace/flourish in his bench role. tyson earlier was pretty upset about his benching and wasn't shy to express it

as far the crawford thing, i think the deal has worked out for both sides. crawford got his contract and is playing for team that 'wants' him. the bulls were able to gain some expiring contracts and... well that's really it.

on a side note: would the bulls still be doing the same if they still had crawford? i think it's quite possible. crawford never got the chance to play with an inshape curry, a fully healthy chandler, a more experienced hinrich, a skiles system which was fully implemented over the offseason. and knowing that he got the contract thing out of the way, you'd probably see less forced shots by him. gordon essentially has replaced crawford. these 2 both have their defencies on defense. crawford's the better more versatile defender but gordon's the more efficient scorer... just something to think about since there seems to be a lot bulls fans bitter w/crawford

The streak came to an end against the Celtics, which meant the two teams switched places but remain very close (0.474 to 0.472).

andrew: my previous post was directed at you mostly. answer it damnit! i'm curious to hear your thoughts on that matter

the loss showed how valuable gordon is to the team. other then curry who was getting double teamed, the bulls had no one to go down the stretch. hinrich is pretty bad in the clutch. skiles should have put gordon in even if he was struggling. it's basically 2 versus 5 on offense when chandler, pike, duhon are on the floor w/ curry & hinrich

that jefferson dude impressed me. nice touch, nice moves around the basket.

i hope they rebound from this tough loss. next up is the high flying josh smith and the atlanta hawks. i see luol deng getting blocked numerous amount of times

It's easy to point to the record with Crawford now in New York and say that they're a better team without him and it was the right move, but I would agree that such an argument doesn't take into account the factors you mentioned: Curry being in shape, Skiles in charge with his system in place from Day 1 of the 2004/2005 season, etc. So yeah, it's possible but with the way the team has taken to the system and the success they've had since finding their feet post 0-9, I personally wouldn't take back the trade.

more bad news for the bulls
Chicago Bulls: Bulls foward/center Tyson Chandler bit off a small piece of his tongue after getting hit in the chin during Wednesday's loss at Boston.

"Somebody's shoulder went into my chin, and I bit down," Chandler told the Chicago Sun-Times. "It's a little piece off the edge, but I really can't eat right now."

Chandler said it was too painful to eat Thursday, though he was hopeful the pain would subside by Friday.

Chandler didn't need any stitches. He was asked if he was aware right away he had sliced off a piece of his tongue.

"Yeah, I felt it when it came to the front," he said. "It wasn't a great experience."

A win over Atlanta and the Celtics' loss to New Jersey has put the Bulls back at one game under .500 and back in the 8th spot. :)

Another win over Detroit and another Celtic loss; a little more breathing room at the 8th spot and a .500 record. :D

I'm ready to pull out a :applaud: if they can get above .500....

if they can stay above that mark for the season and make the playoffs I'll give them a

good to see a team led by Kirk Hinrich winning....much better for the Bulls than when Crawford was....

let's hope the :boohoo: days are over for the new Bulls....

i'm thinking that, this season, the .500 mark is where the Bulls will have problems eclipsing....kind of a barrier they reach but cant push further....we'll see

that could be true....it seems like a lot of Eastern playoff pretenders just can't break that .500 mark....

when a team gets close, ie. Knicks, they lose 9 out of 10....earlier in season 76ers looked like they would do it but then they lost a whole bunch in a row....same with Celtics

should be interesting....I keep on thinking the bubble will burst....I'm guessing it's human nature to think that....could be like Nuggets & Bucks of last year and ride wave through to playoffs....

3 bulls plays made espn's top 10 plays of the day! gordon made childress look flatout stupid on that one possession

should be a tough one against denver. it's the 4th game in 5 nites for chicago and earl boykins always kills the bulls.

111-107 victory over the Nuggets for their fourth straight win and a record of 21-19. For those who watched the game, was there any mention made of the reason Harrington got the starting nod over Curry?

Edit: For a moment, they've moved ahead of Indiana for the 7th place and are just half a game behind Orlando for the sixth seed.
