2 animals going in different directions
bulls
timberwolves

which one is more suprisng? I think the bulls are more suprising. Over the years there has been the talks of potential with Eddie Curry and Chandler and at any moment they could fullfill those expections. They showing signs of it now and its showing on their improved team record.
T'wolves? Damn egos taking over, but who would think that they no better than the clippers record wise? That's a pretty big fall although the clippers have been up and down just recently beating a team the spur's haven't yet (Seattle)

(yaya i saw it on nba.com but its a close poll)

I'd say the timberwolves. Sure the Bulls have improved sooner than people thought they would, but the fact is if you have enough early draft picks, sooner or later you're going to get a mix of players who can play.

On the other hand, it really is genuinely surprising that a team with Garnett and a seamingly solid support cast can be playing so poorly.

haha, and nowhere else

Bulls.....everyone expected them to suck as per usual....i mean, 5 wins in a row is unheard of in Chicago....the last time that happened was in the last MILLENIUM....talk about a long time.

Timberwolves, I thought the Bulls had a chance at the playoffs if they could get it together because though they're young they have massive talent on the team, and they also have some veterans.

The T-Wolves.. I wasn't too surprised about the Bulls winning streak for some reason (and it's been kept quiet too), but with the T-Wolves having good talent and an MVP in Garnett and a proven coach in Saunders, it's pretty screwed up to see them slumping.

I'm more surprised at how the Bulls have achieved what they have thus far this season. At best, I figured they'd be hoving around in the .400 to .500 range from Day 1. I wouldn't have predicted they'd made such a run after an 0-9 start.

But I'm more surprised by the fall of the Timberwolves. Chicago has been (pleasantly) surprising, but they're at a point where they should be showing some improvement and having a bit more success. But Minnesota was a Conference Finalist with basically the same core as last year. They'd reached a point where they were an elite team - maybe a team that could win a title, maybe not - a team that should be in contention for the title for a few years. Historically speaking, such teams are generally up there for much longer.

I vote for Bulls. Those young players are finally realizing their role.
