If you watched them recently you would know that they are playing really well right now and could still make the playoffs.

Don't the winners of each division automatically get the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seeds for the playoffs in their conference?

Yes, the 20-13 Wizards somehow don't even make that playoffs , and they haven't even got to use Etan Thomas and Kwame Brown yes because of injuries.

East:
1. Miami
2. Cleveland
3. Orlando
4. Washington
5. Detroit
6. Indiana
7. New York
8. Chicago/Boston/Philadelphia

I think those three will battle it out for the eighth seed, with a close finish. I'm still undecided there.

West:
1. Phoenix
2. San Antonio
3. Seattle
4. Sacramento
5. Dallas
6. Lakers
7. Rockets
8. Grizzlies/Timberwolves

I'm not prepared to write off the Timberwolves, even if they have lost 11 of their last 15. But the Grizz have rallied and might be able to inch ahead if the Wolves' slide continues.

i put Minnesota 6th becuase each year they usually manage to string 10 straight wins after the All-Star break. That's something i doubt Lakers or Rockets can do, and then they round into form. I see wolves as high as 5 but not higher.

It's amazing what a draft pick and a few good trades can do.

perhaps an overrated SF?

i doubt the Nuggets would be THIS bad had they still had Lenard. He was their only 3 point shooter.

true....but Im not blaming Melo or K-Mart fully.....I think the Nuggets need a coach now cause Cooper cant run a team with such a variety of personalties......
anyway the Nuggets r targetting Joe Johnson in free agency aswell as a swap using Nene+Others for Super Ray....that should help cure their two guard problems.

To bad its the 2004/2005 season. Why should they be up there? 13-22 = Elimination so far.

i doubt Phoenix will let JJ go easily. Secondly, i don't think that Seattle would help a Conference rival out that much. Theres no player on the nuggets that is as good as Allen, so if a deal was going to happen Denver would have to give up 2,3 players to get him.
