Kidd - He doesn't have the offensive skills like others, but he's got a great all-round game, is a great passer, leader, and a great defender.
Nash - The defense bothers me, his defense is pretty bad, but his offensive efficiency covers a little of that up. If he had defense, I don't know if it would be possible to say Kidd was better than him, but he doesn't, and you could say he same thing about if Kidd could shoot like him.
Baron - Decision making in terms of shot selection leaves a lot to be desired, but just as good a passer as Marbury, and arguably better, a very good defender on and off the ball, and a good all-round player. If he could shoot free throws, and drive more as opposed to taking three's, especially since he can get in the lane so easily, he'd be real high up. Their's also the fact that his team has had injury problems which has made them suck, and he's been constantly injured and out of shape at times.
Wade - He's listed as SG on depth charts/stat sheets but plays PG on offense for the Heat, and is the playmaker. Not a real PG either, if he was to count in this I'd take him over Marbury. Not the passer the rest of the guys are, and not as good a defender as Kidd or Baron, but good, just not great. Efficient scorer, and makes good decisions.
That's all, maybe Iverson, but Iverson is also not a PG, not an efficient scorer, has a horrible assist to turnover ratio, and though he's good at anticipating, gambles too much defensively hurting team defense, and is not a good one on one defender, okay, but not good.
Francis is also not a PG, he most notorious for overdribbling the ball, is looking to either score or make the touchdown pass. Good all-round game, but not a good passer, and okay in offensive efficiency, he's also a weak defender which is a little dissapointing for a guy that athletic. Him and Marbury seem to just let player go by them without much regard.
Also let's be serious here, Marbury doesn't make his teammates better, Nash does, Kidd does, Wade does, Baron more so than not, Iverson...a little, sometimes, but other times he makes them spectators. Francis, no, that's one thing a PG needs to do, make teammates better.
Kidd | Nash | Baron | Wade | Marbury | Arenas | Bibby | Iverson | Francis | Tinsley | Dre Miller | Billups | Hinrich | Rafer | Cassell | Parker | Claxton | Payton | McInnis | B.Knight
