Or maybe they are both up and coming talents? I don't pretend to know anything about rap, but if you say Royce hasn't done anything, I see a parallel because Melo hasn't done anything in the NBA yet either. BUT, it is expected he'll become good.
Sun Jul 27, 2003 11:02 pm
well royce definately is not a rookie in the rap game...
Mon Jul 28, 2003 1:59 am
Is Royce that ugly face you have in your avatar?
Mon Jul 28, 2003 2:17 am

Jason kidd is still better than Nash.Yeah he's having some rusty games this season, but he had injurie.
Who thinks Nash is better than Kidd? Well get over he aint
Sat Jan 01, 2005 4:33 am
dude this thread is 2 YEARS OLD
Sat Jan 01, 2005 4:41 am
So what? In this thread we can talk about point guard stuff, instead of making numerous threads of Wade,Nash,Kidd, etc.
Sat Jan 01, 2005 5:15 am
You have a point there, seeing that this topic is still relevant.
I also think that Kidd, once (and if) he gets back to form, is better than Nash. If Kidd were on the Suns, he'd be doing the same, if not more for them. His shot isn't nearly as good as Nash's but he gets the edge due to his defense, which is miles ahead of Nash's.

The thread is real old, but GloveGuy, Napaleon Dynamite is one of the stupidest, but funniest movies I've ever seen, the guy just frustrated me, Napoleon that is.
He calls his brother to bring him chapstick, geez..

Is this best PG in the game or in the real NBA
In the game they pretty much all are good, the starters that is
Everytime I play a team their PG lights it up

Yes, that was already pointed out by Najira earlier in the thread, and to break my recent pattern of posts and stay on topic, Nash is the best PG right now.

I watched Napoleon Dynamite a few days ago
Its not the best movie I have ever seen but it gave me some pretty good laughs

Jason Kidd is helluva good
Let the new whoisthebestPG war begin
Ok just kidding.

Jamesphenomenal = Jason Duncan.
I don't think Nash is the best PG, he's up there but I still think he's second to Kidd.
Sun Jan 02, 2005 3:43 am
damnit, i'm still trying to figure out what the connection is between Duncan-James-Kidd
can we say....WADE!!!

p.s KIDD AND IVERSON ARE THE TWO FASTEST IN THE LEAGU BUT KIDD IS FASTER THAN "THE ANSWER".

No, he's not. Not even close..
And Gary Paytons "The Glove". In his prime, he was a defensive machine.
Where's the love for Mike Bibby. I'm not saying he's the best. But he's owned Nash in the postseason. He can score, pass, hit the 3 like there's no tomorrow, and he's clutch.
Nash, Bibby, GP, Parker, Kidd, AI and Stevie Franchise are among the best today.
AI's a great player, who just happens to be at the pg position, but I wouldn't call him the best. Maybe the best scoring pg. Definately the best scoring pg today.
Steve Francis isn't a passing pg either. He plays a style similar to AI, but his defense isn't as good and he definately doesn't put up as many points.

Baron Davis when healthy is usually a top PG when healthy
Sun Jan 02, 2005 5:57 pm
I'd take Baron after Kidd when healthy as the next PG, Nash is great, and a more efficient offensive player, but Baron is a great on and off ball defender, which can't be said for Nash, Marbury and Francis. Baron's biggest problem is his idiotic love for jacking up three's, apart from that he plays well.
One of the reason's Kidd is also a great PG is that he's great defensively. Marbury and Francis just let people go by them like they can't move, and Nash doesn't have the athletic ability to be a top defender, and also doesn't have the defensive smarts that many who don't have the athletic ability use.

Jason Kidd.

As big of a GP homer as I am, I think he's taken a step back from the best PGs of today. Regardless, what he's been doing for the Celtics has been amazing, and he really is the MVP for that team. On the other hand, his defense has taken about two giant steps back, and his spot up J can be painful. Regardless, he still possesses the intangibles that barely any of today's PGs had -- leadership and hard-nosed play.
