Wade first career triple double

Hinrich was the first from last season's rookie group to get a TD, and Wade is now the second, Wade and Lebron have gotten so close so many times.

Wade gave a lesson in how to play against the Pistons, don't settle for jumpshots, but attack, attack, and attack some more. He kept going to the basket like he always does, and was making shots and getting to the line. The Pistons were collapsing, but if they did he'd find the open man, and if they didn't collapse he would score in the lane.

Shaq stopped coming out on the pick and rolls, and maitianing the interior defense, which also helped, and the Heat just played a good game and were able to get it together on offense, and get defensive stops down the stretch.

He had 31-10-10, and shot 12-18, and he had 9 rebounds for about 3+ minutes to end the game, and wasn't going after any boards because he didn't even know about it, then Shaq tipped a rebound to him right at the end of the game.

But I really like what Wade's doing right now. He seems to get better every day, even though he's still stuck in between positions. I'm still trying to find a player comparison to this guy -- an athletic, 6'4" combo guard, with a nice mid-range, who can get to the basket at will.

Wade's actually 6'5, but the Heat just wanted to list him as 6'4, I don't know why, he's 6'4 3/4 which for everybody else would be put as 6'5, but whatever lol

Also to add, Jason Kidd should have 2 triple doubles already if his scoring wasn't so off, in the last 2 games he's had 11 rebounds and 10 assists, and 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

It's good that he didn't shot at his own rim just to get a rebound,like Sura or Ricky .

congrats to Flash. I liked him ever since his first season last year.....one of my fav. players in the NBA today....congrats to him. He is playing hella great this year

Wade's simply exploded this season. He was overshadowed by LeBron and Carmelo last year, but it's very difficult to overlook him this year. Miami is also right up there among the top teams in the league and have won 13 straight; Shaq's presence is a huge factor in the strong start but Wade deserves a lot of credit. He hasn't fizzled after posting impressive numbers in the first five games of the season.

Yea a little in that they're both athletic, and they both have nice all-round numbers, but Wade get's more assists, is 10 time better in decision making, and doesn't dribble the ball for 15 seconds before making his move.

Wade does his stuff quickly, that's one of the fault of a lot of perimeter players now, overdribbleing, Wade is also a better defender, but that's more because Francis just plays weak defense.

Francis isn't as good a scorer as wade either. His J is still pretty inconsistent, and when he's not hitting it, he doesnt usually consider taking the ball to the rack to go to the ft line.

When Francis struggles, the whole team seems to struggle, but Wade knows how to get the job done, and is veeeeeeeeeeeeeery patient with the ball. He seems to see the future sometimes and knows what will develop.

that was a very enjoyable performance to watch the way he's able to get to the rim and finish does remind me of a certain player

First of many imo Wade's gonna be an allstar this year for sure.

Off topic but speaking of Larry Hughes he's my front runner for most improved player. he's lifted his game to another level this year and the wizards are winning.

Actually in many people's opinion [now] Wade is better than Carmelo , I told y'all he should've been a bigger candidate last year if not for the injuries.

Its been years since we had players who went hard to the basket. In the last 5 years we have had so many high school and euro guy that have shyed away from any contact. is it any wonder the nba is thinking about messing with the 3 point rule

I agree, except for the Euro guys; those guys can actually shoot

But thats what iam saying , with the euro guys been like 6.9 - 6.11 and even 7 foot and there camped out at the 3 line all game so the US big men in college see that and think the same so you end up depending on guys like Wade,Marbury and Iverson to go hard to the basket every game.

I bet theres not many teams in the nba today that dont have at least 1 if not 2 big men who would shoot the 15-25 footer in a heart beat than to drive the lane hard get fouled make the basket and go to the line for one.

Its just to much hard work for these millionaire these days

It's kind of funny because we have players that can't shoot, but take too many jumpers, but they can dunk well, but don't attack the basket as often.
