How can he be cold right now?
0-3 fg.
Well, Kobe not-so-clutch

And he also said (when asked about coming here as an opponent) "When they designed this stadium I wish they would have made the visiting locker room a little bigger."
Great game to watch.

Kobe even left a voice message this week for Shaq to show that he is trying. Even though Kobe may be somewhat at fault in this whole feud thing he is at least making a feable attempt at trying to mend things. Shaq hasn't tried at all, seems rather childish to me.
Little_Big_Man wrote:Also today they repeated showed the clip from the game I saw yesterday against the Blazers I believe when Kobe crosses over at the top of the key and throws the oop to Shaq who gets the AMAZING one handed oop. Kobe runs over to Shaq to clap hands in congrats but Shaq just keeps moving not even acknowledging just basking in his own glory of the dunk.
Little_Big_Man wrote:Look at how he tries to be comical and use big words and flash his smile to get attention. He may not be a ballhog but he seems to be an attentionhog.
Little_Big_Man wrote:Today during the interviews with Shaq, Shaq repeatedly makes sly stabs at Kobe but Kobe said nothing negative. Shaq said at the end of the game "I dont need to try and score a lot of points, I just wanted to help us win the game". This is an obvious reference to Kobe. At half time he talks like LA ment nothing because he is no longer there even though thats where he won his titles. Shaq repeatedly makes comments about being "classy" and not a part of the soap opera but he has made most of the negative references.
Little_Big_Man wrote:Lastly when Kobe made the attempts at going to the rim Shaq doesn't seem to go for the ball as much as going for Kobe, he even winked when he hit Kobe the first time like it was planned. I figured that as "loveable" as Shaq is with the media and players that Kobe was the wrongdoer even though I'm an avid Kobe fan. But after watching yesterday and today Shaq seems like the "punk" with all the cheap shots.

Yesterday I saw the Shaq thing on TV also where they showed how he had a great sidekick in Penny and then Kobe but still couldn't work well with them. The media always makes it look like Kobe's fault but Shaq couldn't even make it work with Penny. I mean they went all the way to the finals but because Penny was becoming better than Shaq at the time Shaq left. When Shaq was the mainstay in LA he seemed content. As soon as Kobe became, well Kobe and began to surpass Shaq he is now in Miami. Seems like Shaq likes to get a great guard to help him win titles and then when the guard gets to a point where is he becoming better than Shaq he is ready to leave.
Shaq has to have attention like he is insecure or something. When he isn't the center of attention he moves elsewhere. Look at how he tries to be comical and use big words and flash his smile to get attention. He may not be a ballhog but he seems to be an attentionhog.

You only know pro-Kobe things (which, may I be as bold to remind you...AGAIN, didn't happen...), coincidence? I thinks not.![]()
Tch tch, dying attempts to save face for such a bold statement.
"Watch him dunk on Shaq." Pff...such arrogance.
And Dre, gracias for the words.

Yeah, I noticed that too. And another thing I noticed(relating to something we discussed a few days ago) was gow much the Lakers offense runs through Kobe. I'd like to see how many times, out of all the Lakers possessions, he DID not touch the ball. Because in that game, especially in the second half, the whole Lakers offense was entirely dependent on what Kobe did.
Maybe it was because Caron was out so they went with a slightly different gameplan, but do the Lakers have any plays that don't run through Kobe? I saw very (too) few isolations for Odom, who has greatly underachieved this year, due to the Lakers offense. There were way too many threes taken, and the only time the Lakers really got some points in the paint was when Kobe drew the defense in on a drive.
God help the Lakers if this is how they're gonna play for the rest of the season...
Remind me how many he scored with Shaq out. Zilch? Yeps.
