Who is the best shooter in NBA?

Thu Dec 23, 2004 8:55 pm

Ok,what do you think?I think it's Dirk.

Thu Dec 23, 2004 9:05 pm

Peja

Thu Dec 23, 2004 9:11 pm

Peja, although I'd put the ball in Kobe's hands for a normal 2 point shot with the clock winding down and I'd put the ball in Miller's hands for a last second three pointer.

Peja under pressure sucks.

Thu Dec 23, 2004 10:23 pm

Kobe sucks as a shooter so far

Thu Dec 23, 2004 10:44 pm

answer is good atm :P

Thu Dec 23, 2004 10:57 pm

Ray Allen

Thu Dec 23, 2004 11:28 pm

mid range: Hamilton, Redd, Nowitzki
long range: Peja, Allen, Barry

Thu Dec 23, 2004 11:36 pm

Ray Allen.

Fri Dec 24, 2004 2:18 am

I'd say Peja because he has the height so he's able to get his shot over defenders easier than Ray Allen or Reggie.

Dirk has the height but those guys are better shooters than him.

Why is Kobe in there?

Fri Dec 24, 2004 3:29 am

FRED HOIBERG!!!!! *POUNDS HEAD ON KEYBOARD* DAMN ITTTTT!!!!

or Peja...either one

Fri Dec 24, 2004 3:46 am

Hoiberg is a good standstill shooter, but I wouldn't call him the best, not even close.

Fri Dec 24, 2004 4:16 am

I would say Dirk, because he can shoot against pressure very well, peja can't.I think the best pure shooter was that guy in lithuania team( OLYMPICS 2004) I don't remember his name.

Fri Dec 24, 2004 4:45 am

i would say Ray Allen

Fri Dec 24, 2004 5:18 am

Hoiberg rocks man...he leads the league in three point percentage (56.5%).

Fri Dec 24, 2004 7:03 am

I put Kobe 'cause he had 12 three pointers in one game.

The Lithuania guy is Jasikevichius or something like that.

Fri Dec 24, 2004 7:25 am

Everyone has a hot streak, just because he got 12 three's in a game doesn't make him the best shooter.

Pff, if that's the type of logic you're going to use Peja should be on the top of your list. Three point champion ring a bell?

Fri Dec 24, 2004 7:48 am

Exactly.

Use common-sense...the obvious answer is Fred Hoiberg.

Shaq leads the league in fg %, does that mean he is the best midrange shooter?

Bruce Bowen has led the league in 3pt % before, but he was never the best shooter.

Fri Dec 24, 2004 9:26 am

ill have to say ray allen as well or michael redd

Fri Dec 24, 2004 10:17 am

best shooter.. Peja

I'd probably take Dirk for the last second 3 in a game, only cuz I hardly ever see Peja take the last shot in a game.

If I need any kind of last second shot, I'd probably go with Kobe too.

No that was arvydas maciauskas or something,he might be the best pure shooter in the world,i don't understand why he isn't in the nba!

Fri Dec 24, 2004 11:14 am

probably he got no defense, or not enough stamina to play in the nba

Fri Dec 24, 2004 11:23 am

Right now, I'd say Ray Allen

Fri Dec 24, 2004 12:56 pm

I would go with Peja man.. hes the s*it as a shopoter in the NBA.... and that lithuanian guy is too slow for NBA
