NBA trip

At the end of next year or the end of 2006 will be going on an NBA trip with my mates.

And Im just wondering about weather the following arenas sell out for games and how far ahead Ill have to book game tickets.

I know for Knicks and Lakers tickets Ill have to book months in advance so here are the teams Ill be seeing playing home games (and its in the order of the cities Ill be visiting)

laker games buy a year in adavance as soon as the schedule comes out clippers you can get US$10 tickets too. Also with laker games be prepared to pay alot and also bewarned about about tight security they are understandable about tourists not knowing bags are not permitted at games and they will lock it up in a safe spot for you but don't be surprised if they check your bag. in orlando its not as tight security wise or price wise but buy early for that. not too sure about others.

don't leave out detroit, you definitely have to go there have a couple beers.. throw a couple chairs . . .

a few months after this season ends...not 100% sure will find out from friend soon.

I think when the 2005-06 NBA Schedules are released.

maybe you could plan the trip to include seeing the knicks in a smaller market, where it won't sell out. same with lakers.

Maybe it's sounds retarded, but you should go in the preseason.
You can get tickets easier and cheaper.
Also the arena isn't filled at all some after a quarter break you can just go down to the expensive seats because theyre empty.

Im already seeing the Staples centre in a Clippers game
and Ill be seeing a NJ game so I can just go across to NY and its NBA store

you should try the teams websites for info on advanced ticket packages to see if they have any that will include any of the teams you might not get tix for. you will probably be able to get nets tickets anytime but if you plan on going over to ny afterwards you might want to leave early or go another day. that traffic can get (sitting for hours) horrible for no reason at anytime.

FYI: I have been able to walk up to the box office and get tickets to 4 Lakers games this year. It's not as hard as last year. If your looking for the experience, go watch the Clips. You can get a lower level seat for the price of a upper level Laker ticket. Plus the Clips are fun to watch.

Seattle has generally been easy for me. But if they keep playing this well it could get harder to buy tickets.

you'll probably have to get tickets in advance to see games against cleveland, lal, kings, miami. those are the big sellouts and also those ticket are prices are $10 higher then the normal price

as for the rest of the games, i don't know how many of you are going, but you could probably just get tickets from a scalper the day of the game
