Oh nobody, he was just drafted 5th overall this year, that's all. He's only a rookie of the year candidate/ and part of the mavs' future. That's all.
So nobody then...

If he's a rookie of the year candidate then so is my left nut

I suppose if Mike Miller can win it anybody can. Harris has plenty of proving to do Barnsey so step off my dick aight!!!!1111!!11!1!!!!! 11 56 2.

Personally Id trade B-Diddy and Wesley....get say VC n J-Rose...draft Chris Paul or one of the euro big men or even Taft.
They could use Rose and their pick from Dallas as trade bait to move up into like the 10-15 area....take Hakim Warrick there, he'll add alotta athletism to them and could even give a shot at PF, specially if he packs on some weight he could be like K-Mart.
Dunno thats a strategy I suggest, their lineup for next season should be something like Taft/Dickau, JR/Garcia, VC/Maybe second round pick like Ryan Gomes, Hakim/PJ, Jamaal/Birdman.
I don't think Dallas would've wanted Rose, they already have Stackhouse, Finley and Daniels playing his spot and Rose isn't exactly the most unselfish player
Read it properly it doesnt say Rose to Dallas, I said they can use Rose(if they get him) and the pick they got from Dallas via the DA trade.

I think Nick's statement is fairly accurate, in the sense that every single rookie in the NBA is a ROY candidate. Including the likes of that Storee bloke, and D.Wilkins... the ordinary one.
Also...
Devin Harris: 5th overall pick
8.2ppg 2.6apg 1.2rpg 1.5spg .385 FG% in 21. 7mpg
Jamaal Tinsley (rookie year): 27th overall pick
9.4ppg 8.1apg 3.7rpg 1.7spg .380 FG% in 30.5mpg
Tony Parker (rookie year): 28th overall pick
9.2ppg 4.3apg 2.6rpg 1.1spg .419 FG% in 29.4mpg
Gilbert Arenas (rookie year): 31st overall pick
10.9ppg 3.7apg 2.8rpg 1.4spg .453 FG% in 24.6mpg
Ben Gordon: 3rd overall pick
11.0ppg 1.6apg 2.1rpg 0.7spg .368 FG% in 22.9mpg
Marko Jaric (rookie year) 30th overall pick
7.4ppg 2.9apg 2.4rpg 1.4spg .401 FG% in 20.9mpg
No real point to be made here, just thought it was an interesting comparison... especially between Harris and Marko Jaric. I know Gordon and Arenas are/were playing SG in their rookie seasons primarily but still.

All the good rookies are in the East this season... the majority of them, IMO.

Thats cos the East teams last year had worse records than the West teams, so they got most of the lottery picks.

The lottery is the teams that don't make the playoffs. And since the same number of teams make the playoffs in each conference each conference has pretty well the same lotery picks. But the East's picks were higher.

he was also traded to GS during offseason, but hadn't had the time to play a single game
he simply hasn't got the level... as a first rounder, he's stuck in the league with a 3 years contract ... that's why he still hasn't been dumped

great deal for dallas- way to take advantage of a team in a tailspin.. not chicago for once, i'm talking about new orleans
harris is still learning and not producing and terry is not the ideal pg for this team.
DA's a good fit with his leadership, experience, and high energy. harris will still get minutes since DA can't go for big minutes anymore
armstrong has already been named starter
