A new NBA Franchise?

I was thinking back to the days of Live 2000, and someone came up with the bright idea of creating a new NBA Franchise and starting from scratch in Franchise Mode - as in create a 30th team and sign players from the free agents and build a championship team from that.

Has anyone tried this with 2003? What do you guys think about it? I am thinking about giving it a burl, with maybe a new Charlotte team.

It's worth a try, but with only players from the freeagent list? Do you really think this will work out?

Well it sets it up for the 2nd season where the franchise should be heading for the first draft pick, have space to sign a big named player, and start to create the foundations for the next few seasons.

But i dunno, guess I'll just have to try to find out.

But do you know how to create a new team? Someone asked it already in the general Discussion and i dont know it either.

I got a pretty good idea how to, but i can't do anything untill i get live and my new pc early next week.....

Then i'll come up with a team nickname and make sum el cheapo team graphics... and then the 30th NBA franchise is born.

It's possible to add new teams, but it's pretty easy to screw up the dbf files in the process, so you have to get it all just right.
