A custom " association " mode ?

I was thinking about the possibility of having a program that would work more like a basketball manager and integrate with NBA 2K11 (or the most popular NBA 2K games). If the program could change the level of recruits (college and highschool) or free players on the market (international leagues) you could play any type of basketball league in the world.
