I think A. Kirilenko might have something to do with that and a part of the 8blocks

Carmelo is easy to shut down, Trenton Hassell can do it and Kirilenko can do it. Really...anyone can shut down Carmelo if you have a guy that will stick with him and give into his head.

Carmelo has been taking the term "My Team" way to seriously. Last season it was pretty bad and this season it is getting terrible. He never passes the ball, he takes terrible shots and plays no defense.
This is going to be the season where LeBron seperates himself from Carmelo...By a longshot.

yeah he needs to learn how to use his team if he ever wants to be a top tier player. i am kinda getting sick of watching players constantly take bad shots. what worse is even if a player is having a bad night they still keep shooting. now i agree some players have to but i was watching the wolves and sam cassel would not stop shooting the ball. guy was missing everything yet that didnt stop him from jacking it up.

well obviously confidence isn't a problem for the melo-man

Did anyone actually watch that game because if you did you'd know that about his 2 ORebs of were putbacks under the basket, so he didn't take 20 shots from the field really, and some were like layups, the team just sucked.
Kenyon and Francisco both missed dunks too.

yep saw the highlights, they couldn't hit anything.. but then again, you gotta give credit to the jazz's defense.. they pretty much punked them out of their own building

You mean Kirilenko's defense
I bet players got scared of driving after a while, and the dunks I don't know what that was all about

i stand corrected
kirilenko is simply a machine

lol. if carmelo turns into another antoine walker the nuggets are doomed
Tue Nov 09, 2004 2:40 pm
Its only the beginning of the season. But he doin real bad.Maybe he tryin to keep up with Lebron
Tue Nov 09, 2004 3:11 pm
Well if he keeps playing like he did today he might never catch up to LeBron. You know he had more shots than passes today...Not assists, passes...
Tue Nov 09, 2004 4:56 pm
His rebounds are up from last year but I have to agree, his play at the offensive end leaves something to be desired. His 0 assist performance against the Jazz drops his average back to 2.5 (lower than last season) and while he's averaging 15.8 ppg, 27% from the field is simply woeful. He hasn't exactly picked up where he left off last season.

i think EA might have something to do with this.. he is all over live 2005...the other lives never had 1 guy all over like him.
