Help!! A PRPBLEM HAS BEEN ENCOUNTERD THE PREVENTS GAMEPLAY FROM CONTINUING.

So every time i try to play online with play now 30 sec into the game. it stops and this messages comes up. A PROBLEM HAS BEEN ENCOUNTERD THAT PREVENTS GAMEPLAY FORM CONTINIUNG. THIS GAME WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
But then it gives me a loss. it happens 99% of the time. out of 60 tries i have been able to play 3 complete games. any help would be appreciated.

Go to your game library, right-click 2K23, choose local files, then click verify the integrity of game files. let it run and it should correct any errors in the game. If that doesn't work, it's something else going on.

In the past, Dee4Three and I have had that issue when trying to play H2H when he had some mods installed. Even art mods can interfere with online play like that, as the differences between the games registers as suspicious (ironically, actually hacking of MyPLAYERs and whatnot doesn't always). If you've got any mods installed, that's the likely cause, but you can just disable them while playing online.

Thanks I'll try that. Cause nothing else I found has been able to work. 2k has given no response.

So I Disabling mods doesn't work either. I have seen other forums where tons of people are having the same problem. This game is just broken as usual.

Having dabbled with online play and some H2H games over the years, that's definitely not surprising.

regarding mods from my experience it is mostly cyberfaces that cause These network errors. Jerseys, court, etc usually work.

in your case, are you changing any settings Ingame? Coach settings, defensive settings, matchups? are you using the Substitution Menu? These are known to cause network errors for years.

Yes it’s funny you say that sometimes right after I set plays or go into coaches settings it will happen right after the game starts again. It’s pretty much made the game in playable online and my team. Park seems to work fine I think I don’t play much park or my player
