Thoughts and Observations

Overall, it's a pretty good game. A couple things I noticed from 2001.

1. The controls on the gamepad are responsive. No more hitting the shoot button and double pumping.

2. Offensive rebounding by CPU- gone

3. No fast breaks by CPU- totally gone

4. Increased blocks and some unrealitistic blocks. My blocks go into the stands, cpu's, some go to midcourt.

5. Still too easy with a good player to fake shot and go by.

6. No more swishes, there are some clank off the rim.

I was playing on all-star and superstar for 2001 w/o any hitches, but so far, with the shot blocking and fastbreaks cranked up, i am back on starter.
It's just a matter of practise, practise, practise.

You can say that again......I started off with Superstar and boy did it throw me a suprise. I guess I'll try starter! Does anyone have a perfect camera angle to use, cuz I am not to comfortable with the Center court on?

I use press box zoomed in 3/4s. I have a 21" monitor though

After playing 2 games in superstar mode, the game ain't that hard. I lost on the first game but on the next i won....around 10 points. Once you learn how the A.I. plays, it is easy to find weaknesses in the defense and offense. :)

oh by the way, i used the nuggets on the second game vs the Lakers. Nuggets have a good frontcourt lineup with howard, hilario and tsikitishvili. Not bad for a frontcourt. Against the lakers, Shaq is the only threat. the others are no match. :)
