NBA 2k22 Tools Problem

Hello, I'm relatively new to 2k modding (first got it on pc 2 months ago) and I have a problem with NBA 2K22 Tools. Everytime I try to start it up to edit a roster or anything, it says "NBA 2k22 Not Running" even though it's on. I believe I'm doing everything correctly, so what am I doing wrong?

If you're not already doing this: The game has to be on and the roster you're editing has to be loaded up. You also have to save rosters like normal. Think of it like: Everything about roster editing is the same as default, it's just that 2K Tools serves as an add-on window that offers more editing flexibility.

For me, it automatically runs as admin and you HAVE to.
