I probably should ask about some performance version. Is there a way to keep this visual (bright crowds and etc) content and bring some fps to the table?

Try running it without reshade. If that doesn't work, then the lighting is probably a bit too much for your PC.

everytime i use the rockets it crashes but for other teams the lighting and reshade works

Should not need an RTX card, but I can't say it wouldn't make a difference either. As long as you have a good GPU you should be okay
i had no problem if this mod is GPU demanding im using RTX 3060 TI my only concern is the bug on this mod.

For those who experienced a hit to your FPS, how big is the drop? 10%? 20%? I'm just curious because I already changed some settings in NVIDIA control panel which gave me a small hit to FPS but created a significant increase in graphics quality. I have a 165hz (1080p) monitor. Using Nvidia control panel, you can get your GPU to render at a much higher resolution (e.g. 4k) and then downsize it to your monitor's resolution. Essentially the GPU will render at whatever FPS it can at the higher resolution which will be lower than whatever FPS it could render for your native resolution. Luckily though my 3060ti can still output in the 130s FPS at the higher resolution whereas I was able to render almost the full 165 FPS at 1080p so it was about a 20% hit to FPS. I'm wondering what my FPS would drop with this mod enabled.
(Yes my GPU can render much higher than 165FPS at the native resolution but I capped it at 165 since my monitor can't really display anything higher than 165...it would create the potential for tearing and other issues. I tried it once and, if I recall correctly, was outputting a max FPS around 225-230)

I can also say that this is an absolutely beautiful reshade and it's still within playable limits for me 50-60 fps. I've found one bug so far which is crashing anytime I play in AT&T Center(Spurs stadium). Otherwise than that, the reshade has given the game new life for me on 2k21.

Everything was working fine until I updated my driver. Then I started to get the framerate issue and also it seemed like the reshade was different. Meaning when I went into the roster editing screen, at first I had to hit F3 because I couldn't see the words or anything in the background. Now I can see everything without pressing F3.
Not sure if anyone else experience this but man I wished I hadn't updated my drivers. Everything was working and looking good.

Wow, the games looks great. I didn't use the reshade as I don't like those, but without it, it still looks vastly different. Still, sadly cannot use it, as my RTX 2070 Super seems to be not enough to turn it on on 4k resolution. Get a massive FPS drop to roughly 40-50 FPS while using it.

This is a great reshader mod however I discovered that using Ray Tracing causes a significant drop in FPS (roughly 40-50+% drop).
If you press the "home" key and pull up the reshade menu, you can disable ray tracing with the setting:
RTGlobalIlluminationCS [qUINT_rtgi_cs.fx]
I was experiencing the FPS drop and when I disable reshaders all together it would return the FPS. After doing some digging, I have found that disabling Ray Tracing restores your FPS.

but this just disables the whole reason why anyone would use this mod. it is supposed to give ray tracing to the game.

No, the rest of the settings for the reshade can still be used. You can still use the reshade without Ray tracing enabled. When I turned it off, it made no graphical difference but my FPS rates returned. There's a lot more to this reshader than Ray tracing and I still use it (as its still my favorite reshader) but I use it without Ray tracing.

Every stadium with this mod for me has a smear problem. How can you fix this?

everything goes in the mods folder. When downloading the arena compatibility fix, you need to right click where it says "shared" at the top and donwload that folder. Then you will place that "shared" folder into your mods folder.
Hello,
I wanted to first thank you for such a great set of mods. I bought and installed the whole thing, I am having an issue. I love the lighting as that is my main reason for getting it. I can load things and make it part of the way into a game, but at some point it crashes and I cannot complete a full game. I have one by one uninstalled and reinstalled all parts of this and narrowed the issue down to the lighting/reschade. That being said, I noticed on some forums you said something about compatibility fixes. Where can I get them and do you think that might fix my issue? I am running a top rig with an i9, 64gb ram and a 4090. Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated as I love this mod and makes the game significantly better. Thank you in advance and for such great work. Also I followed the directions on loading the files. It sounds like you are saying all of the files should go into the mods folder. The directions say the following: OPTION 1 - FULL EXPERIENCE
- Just drag and drop the files in the folder into your NBA 2K25 directory
OPTION 2 - STADIUMS ONLY
- Just drag and drop the "mods" folder into your NBA 2K25 directory
OPTION 3 - RESHADE ONLY
- Drag and drop everything BUT the "mods" folder into your NBA 2K25 directory
Am I doing something wrong following the directions for lighting putting the files in the 2k25 folder?
