Duncan, Parker move to the Big Apple, CP3 to lead new era in San Antonio
After a less than ideal first half of the season, it seems LeBron James has pulled out all the stops to bring some championship-caliber teammates to MSG, breaking up the San Antonio Spurs longtime trio by welcoming veterans Tim Duncan & Tony Parker. With Chris Paul missing the All-Star Game and the Knicks limping to a 21-30 record after finishing top of the East last season, it seemed clear that the pairing of CP3 & LeBron could be on the verge of souring. As the more pass-first PG of Parker comes into the fold, LeBron has more opportunity dominate the scoring whilst also having a consensus top 3 PF of all time in the post. As well as a new franchise PG, the Spurs also add exciting SF Danilo Gallinari, who gets his opportunity to step out of the shadow of the King and create a legacy in San Antonio.
Beantown says goodbye to The Truth, adds Parsons from Sac-Town
After 11 years in Boston, Paul Pierce is coming home to California, as the Celtics look to move on from the The Truth, and begin a rebuild with the exciting sophomore Chandler Parsons. The Kings add valuable veteran experience to pair with their dynamic youthful backcourt, as they look to maintain their presence in the top half of the Western Conference.
Clippers add Billups to replace Arenas, send Jordan to Nuggets
With Gilbert Arenas out for the season, the Clippers have added another veteran PG to steer their dynamite offense, acquiring Chauncey Billups from the Clippers in a three-team trade also including the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nuggets will look to reinvigorate their offense with the exciting DeAndre Jordan pairing with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist & Mario Chalmers.
