just wanted to comment on your sf selection before giving my team. you are right about how with a team full of scorers it would be nice to have a defender but jordan was a great defender himself and honestly i think a pure shooter would just be better, which is why i would go with bird, who was pretty good at defence himself. you can also grab the ultimate defender for your center to seal up the entire package.

i would consider stockon for a second over magic simply for his passing skills(not saying magic is bad, just saying stockton is the best), but there is no way i can pass on magic. jordan is the clear choice as is bird imo. basicly the first 3 are obvious if you ask me. i picked malone for his ability to pass the ball aswell as score/rebound. gotta go with russell as no one was a better defender down low imo.

I can't say I've watched all my picks as extensively as others, but here we go:

Although to make a team, I would love no better than a Russell/Hakeem combo down low...potentially the best two post defenders ever to stand on a basketball court and the man with the best ever footwork.

actually, i agree with your opinion there - i guess you can use team usa as an example of how a lot of good defenders and no pure shooter can be a bad thing. thanks for the heads up.

I'd leave Garnett at the SF position because if I put him there, he's still better then any other SF in the league.

oscar was damn good man. one of the best ever. however magic is magic. i for one tried my best to pick john stockton over him cause i like him so much more but everytime i thought of something i could easily counter it and magic was the clear choice imo. i stand by my opinion that bird magic and jordan are the best 3 to ever play the game, not just skill wise, but mentally too. thats why i think these 3 deserve a spot on any all time team.


oh and J.23, i cant really argue with that logic for picking pippen over bird now can i?
