If you're looking for a jumpshot, try Brandon Ingram's!

As per the title. If you're still playing MyCAREER and/or its connected modes and you're still tweaking your jumpshot, give Brandon Ingram's animation a try.

Base: 75
Upper Release 1: 113
Upper Release 2: None
Blending: 0 (or 100% in favour of Upper Release 1; same thing)

Note that you'll need to have played enough of MyCAREER to unlock the Jumpshot Creator. Ingram's jumpshot must be created, as it's not a unique animation that you can just add and equip.

It works best with a Gold Quick Draw Badge (as Ingram himself has in the official roster), but even without it, it's a pretty good jumper for getting Greens and good releases. Ratings and Badges obviously still come into play, but it's a fairly easy animation to master. Speeding it up with Quick Draw should make it even more effective, especially online where a slower shot really opens you up to a close out and some cheap blocks.

I still like Klay Thompson's animation for my guard build (and his free throw animation for all builds), but Ingram's feels like it works better with my big man build. If you want to try out Klay's animation, his is a unique one that doesn't need to be created using other animations.

I have gone through almost 20 practices (or more) and haven't gotten the jumpshot creator yet!

I may have messed up in the first 10 I walked to practice instead of going from the calendar?

I usually go there through The Neighborhood and it unlocked for me, so you're definitely not doing anything wrong that way. I'm wondering if it's tied to something else, like prominence on the team and/or Overall Rating. How's your other progress?

My attributes are pretty good now, I'm like a 76 overall. I think it's because I'm not a starter yet?

It might be contingent on that, yeah. Most sources that cite it as being 15 or so games in (as I'm pretty sure I was) probably assume that you're a starter by that point, as it usually takes at least that long to crack the starting five.

I have LeBron in front of me so hopefully if I get up to around 80 overall they'll put me at one of the guard spots

It'll be interesting to find out if that's a condition/part of the required progress; being in the starting five for a few games.

Just got it after starting my 3rd game! Hard work pays off lol

Guess that confirms that! Now you can re-create those non-unique animations, and try out a few custom combinations.
