Thanks.
Hopefully I can find the motivation to load up this game more often than I have in the past few months. I really want to get to the next draft and add some more young talent to this team.

The Milwaukee Bucks today secured the most sought-after signature in the NBA, with Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo signing a four-year extension worth $155 million. According to sources the final year of the deal is a player option.
It really is a massive coup for a small market franchise to lock down their star player to a long-term contract. Seemingly half of the teams in the league were lining up to pitch to Giannis in the upcoming free agency period. The likes of Toronto, New York, Miami, Boston, Atlanta and even Oklahoma City were rumoured to be ready to offer up a max-level contract to him.
There were even rumours online that LeBron James and Chris Paul were contemplating taking massive pay cuts next season in order to fit Giannis in at the Lakers alongside themselves and Anthony Davis. That would have been the ultimate power move in a league that has recently seen a trend of superstars joining forces to create super-teams.
But Giannis wasn't tempted by the bright lights of Los Angeles or the beaches of Miami. He enjoys staying out of the limelight in Wisconsin. He revealed today that, "I love it in Milwaukee man. My family is settled here, the people are nice and I really enjoy playing with this group of guys."
He also added, "My goal is to bring a championship to Milwaukee. It's been 50 years of waiting for this fanbase, so it would be so much more special to win one here than to go somewhere else and win three or four."
Giannis is the strong favourite to be crowned MVP this season. He leads a pack full of new exciting names in contention for the award, such as Zion Williamson, Nikola Jokic, Anthony Davis and Ben Simmons. Giannis is averaging 29 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game. It is virtually the exact same stat line he put up last season when he narrowly finished second behind Houston's James Harden in the voting.
Milwaukee currently sit fourth in the eastern conference behind Boston, Brooklyn and Atlanta. They will be hoping to avoid Philadelphia in the playoffs as the 76ers have eliminated them in the conference semifinals in bot of the past two years.
After this announcement the biggest name potential free agents still remaining are LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell, Blake Griffin, Kyle Lowry and Marc Gasol. Meanwhile, the likes of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Chris Paul, DeMarcus Cousins and Jrue Holiday could all opt-out of their player options for next season and become unrestricted free agents.

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced today that they have re-signed Canadian guard Luguentz Dort. The 21-year-old defensive specialist has reportedly agreed to a 3-year deal worth $5.2 million. Sources say that the contract is fully guaranteed and has no options. General manager Sam Presti declined to comment on the terms of the deal, per team policy.
Dort, who went undrafted in 2019, was surprisingly not offered a new contract by the Thunder at the end of last season. He signed a one-year deal with the Timberwolves, but unfortunately suffered an ankle injury back in late December which eventually put him out of action for over 3 weeks. Minnesota subsequently waived him and then signed forward David Nwaba for the rest of the season.
Presti and his staff kept a keen eye on Dort's recovery progress and ultimately invited him to workout at their training facility last week. Sources say that he performed well and this led to Presti offering him a contract.
"We love what he can bring to our team, both on and off the court", said Presti in a statement. "This business is full of hard decisions and letting Lu go at the end of last season was a tough call for us. Obviously we're really glad to have him back now."
Center Justin Patton was waived two days ago in order to open up a roster spot for Dort.
