Well boys I'm back again. I honestly have no idea what happened but when I went to load up URB last night, all of my files were gone. The entire mod. The saves folder was completely empty, and upon loading the game it asked me to create a new myplayer. I looked for about 4 hours and unless I just didn't put the proper wording, I couldn't find anybody with the same problem as me. I have URB backed up on a hard drive so that's no issue, it's just a bummer I have to start my franchises all over. Hopefully someone knows what caused this so I can avoid it in the future. Thanks guys.

Hello dear Sko, slimm44 and all the other guys) I want to say thank you so much for your work. I have been playing 2k14 for many years and there is no better simulator.

1) Are you planning to include Mike Taylor in the Clippers 2009 roster?

2) Based on what data do you rate the player? WS, Per, what else? I like your roasters, I do not want to offend, I do not quibble) just interesting)

for example, Robert Williams in the 2019-20 roster is the starting PF Celtics. This is because, according to advanced statistics, it has a high rating and the CPU puts it at the start?

in 1996-97 they played in the playoffs. Loy Vaught (legend clippers, stable powerful forward) was seriously injured, the 1997-98 season failed ... The team was not the worst in the 90s. Twice played in the playoffs with Utah, losing in a bitter struggle ...

I can't wait until the sneaker color issue is fixed once and for all. My biggest gripe left with this mod. I'm glad you guys are taking the time and effort to get it right. No more Retro Celtics wearing Green Sneakers....

The mod is designed for season and association modes. in my career his few people play, he is arcade and clumsy

ofc you can load roster and run asso or season mode. ASSO files were made to prevent from STUPID 2K cpu control. First thing. CPU will change rotations and minutes of all players and all teams, so it wont be accurate anymore. CPU will start trades (stupd-non logical trades) even if your will turn off trades, cpu will start to sign FAs which will also change rotations/minutes. If you dont have problem with this, feel free and load roster then start asso or season.

skoadam, thanks for replying! Last question though. Loading the 2005 season, there seems to be some missing logos of teams like the Bobcats, Wolves, etc. I've downloaded all 14 parts already.

Kevin, since 8 years there is no missing single texture in entire URB mod beside around 20-30 cfs mostly from 90s roster ( but i already know about this - happened by my mistake while uploading ). I see both Bobcats and Wolves logo in Retro Teams&Dornas&Logos part.
If you still dont see correct logos i think you installed only retro parts. So again i must remind. Retro is not standalone mod. To play retro parts, you must have current parts installed. Only current roster is standalone. Most users prefer to play only current roster, this is why i seperated files for current and retro, so people can download only current roster files.

Alright, gang. Sorry for the long time in between posts. I've been working A LOT on both updating the roster files and fixing all of the errors that Sko and I found after pasting. I sent him all 2k13 and 2k14 files this morning and I believe my work is completely done. In this update, you will find:

- Updated play types based on era, position, player type, and statistical data
- Updated names (all spelling should be correct now)
- Updated height and weight. A lot of players who noticeably gained weight will gain weight from roster to roster ie Eric Snow, Vin Baker
- Updated primary and secondary positions
- Updated shot in traffic, shot off dribble, ball handling, off ball dribbling, ball security, offensive low post, defensive low post, and on ball defense ratings
- Offensive and defensive awareness has been personalized for every player. For example, Ray Allen typically had a defensive awareness rating in the 70's. Then, he went to Miami and, based on my statistical formulas, he had a few seasons where that went up to the 90's because he was on such a good defensive team. I made sure that his best defensive seasons had mid 70's defensive awareness ratings. I did this for every player's offensive and defensive awareness ratings.
- Speed and quickness ratings have been revamped for every player to make bigger gaps in explosiveness and speed between players and positions.
- Vertical, dunk, standing dunk, special layup ratings (for 2k14 only), dunk tendency, and alley-oop tendency have been updated for every single player in the mod. Vertical was based off of in-game ability to jump (in reference to how close to the rim the top of the player's head and hand gets during gameplay) and NOT on combine numbers. Players who don't reach a certain height based on their vertical leap, physical height, and how high their hand gets in relationship to the rim will NOT have the ability to dunk. For example, Zion Williamson has a 45 inch vertical leap and is 6'6 tall. This means that, in a training setting, the top of his head gets 3 inches over the rim (45 inches + 78 inches = 123 inches. Rim is 120 inches from floor.) There are times where the top of his head is even with the rim during gameplay, but I found no photographic or video evidence that his head has been 3 inches above the rim during NBA gameplay. I understand this method of calculating vertical rating will be controversial. If you desire to change individual ratings, feel free. There will most likely be no further updates after this one.
- Post up tendency and pick and roll tendency have been updated for 2k14
- Post move and post shot tendencies have been updated for all players. There are now 4 types of low post players: Power, Traditional, Finesse, and Mid-Range. These types of players have separations in the amount of post moves that are assigned to them based on their low post rating and position. This should add a great deal of diversity to the post game.
- Pre-drive dribbling tendencies and dribbling tendencies have been updated for every player based on position, ball handling rating, and era.

Also, Lady Culture, Sko, and myself had NUMEROUS conversations about individual players and I implemented a number of edits to specific players to make this mod as sim as possible. Guys, we left no stone unturned. This is by far the most comprehensive and sim update that we have ever produced.

That being said, my editing days are largely done. I bought a new house a month ago and we take possession Friday. A great deal of my time at home will be maintaining the property (20 acres), working on the house, and enjoying life with my wife and kids.
