And for people that want to pull of Self-Alley Hoops in the Rookie/Sophmore and East/West All-Star Games, Press down the Righ-Analog button or the "Freestyle Button" which is considered as R3 and your player will attempt to throw the ball off the backboard, and all you need to do is run towards the ball, and press the square button and hopefully he will catch it, and pull off a Self-Alley Hoop.

Practice this in the Individual Practice Game Mode before doing it on the court.

360 between the Legs PS2
In case you haven't figured it out yet...
Gather-X(180 gather) During the gather rotate the left analog 360 degrees clockwise
Trick-X, hold until your player takes the ball all of the way between his legs.

Behind the back-PS2
Gather-Square
Trick-L1+Circle(I think-it's either one or both of the triggers)

ray allen can dunk from the free throw line. I suppose anyone can with a high enough rating. The trick is timing. most of the time it bounces off the front rim.

Left Jumbo = D-PAD Left + (R-Analog) whatever toss you want
Right Jumbo = D-PAD Right+ (R-Analog) whatever toss you want
High Camera = D-PAD Up + (R-Analog) whatever toss you want

I managed to do the kick off-the-heel ball toss once by accident in practice mode. It involved some motion with the left side, probably rolling up to left to down or something like that.

And I don't mean the soccer-heel flip that you do when you circle the controller, in this one the player tosses the ball to the side then kicks it with his heel.

THESE ARE ALSO XBOX TOSSES!

WHILE THE BALL IS IN THE AIR ANOTHER MODIFIED GATHER IS (L+R+B) FOR A CARTWHEEL!

IF YOU TOSS IT OFF THE SHOT CLOCK FROM ABOUT HALF COURT AND DO THE CARTWHEEL IMMEDIATELY AFTER, YOU CAN FINISH IT ALL OFF WITH A DEE BROWN EYE COVER (L+R+X)

HAS TO BE DONE FROM STRAIGHT ON

Well, here's what I have so far...

R1 - Make tosses bounce off the ground and not the backboard
R1+L1 - Make toss off the shotclock

O - Two foot gather / Two hand finish

R1 +[], O - One hand windmill to two hand finish
R1 + [], /\ - One hand windmill (Larry Nance)
R1 + [], [] - Rock The Cradle Windmill (Michael Jordan, gets high scores for some reason, release when ball nearly touches thigh)

L1 + O, [] - Front flip to Dee Brown no-look?
L1 + O (without the ball) - Front flip gather
R1 + L1 + O, O (with ball) - Between the legs twice
R1 + L1 + O, [] - No-look dunk (Dee Brown)
R1 + L1 + X, O - Double-pump windmill reverse
R1 + X, /\ - 360 windmill (catch)
/\, Rotate, X - 360 Between the legs (catch) (release slightly before it hits the opposite hand)
R1 + O, /\ - Windmill catch
R1 + [], X - Between the legs facing basket
R1, 360 + /\, /\ - 360 windmill dunk/catch
R1, 720 + /\, O - 720 dunk
R1, 360 + /\, O - Terrance Stansbury Statue of Liberty 360

(R1) L1 + [], /\ - Elbow hang (hold slightly longer for armpit)
R1 + L1 + [], /\ - Elbow hang

L1 + O, X - Front flip gather to front Between the legs

???? - 180 one-hand full-extension catch?

R1(?) + L1 + O, /\ - Front flip gather to two-hand windmill
L1 + O, /\ - Front flip gather to Windmill finish
L1 + O, [] - Front flip gather to normal one-hand finish

R-Up - Two hand lob toss
R-Down - Bounce ball off the ground (off backboard)
R-Left - Two hand high toss
R-Up-Left - Two hand underhand lob
R-Down-Right - Punch ball off the ground
R - Down-Left - Punch ball off the ground

D-pad Right + Toss - Toss off right Jumbotron
D-pad Left + Toss - Toss off left Jumbotron
D-pad Up + Toss - Toss off Camera or Upper floor (Dunk practice)

Someone else did a very good job with the tosses.

The Xbox and Ps2 controls are exactly the same. Here is a guide:

PS2 (equal to) Xbox
Triangle = Y
Square = X
Circle = B
X = A
R1 = R
L1 = L
R3 = Right thumstick
L3 = Left thumbstick

P.S Hopes this helps you guys who are struggling to convert the controls. :D
