2K13 without JayZ

Is there any way to get 2K13 to run with no JayZ music or videos before the games? Or is that basically 2K14?
I do like the 2K13 gameplay, but imagine absolutely not being able to stand an artist and having them plastered all over a game.

It's possible to edit the soundtrack; I'm pretty sure we have a guide in the Tutorials section. I think the only way of changing the intro that we discovered was to swap the files with another game from around the same time, say 2K12 or 2K14.

Ok. Well, 14 means having to put up with Lebron which I hate as much as JayZ.
Surprised there's no mod that just kills intro music and videos.

Ah, you're talking about the pre-game intros. Yeah, I'm not sure anything can be done about those. It's pretty much put up with it, or play something else.

Well initially I'm just talking about the video when you run the game. And the little Kurtis Blow clip in the loading of 2K12 before the video.
But I'm also thinking now about the pre-match video that had JayZ video clips didn't it...

So the game's introduction video, the one on boot-up? I believe that one can be swapped out with another game. It might also be possible to delete/rename the file and just go directly into the game, but there's no guarantee it won't cause a crash before the game can even load. I haven't tried it, I just skip intros pretty quick unless I'm in the mood to watch them again.

Anyway, those are the options. Try swapping in an intro from another 2K, rename the intro file so the game can't load it, disable songs in the soundtrack or mod new songs in, or play a different game.

2k12 intro works for 2k14 and its included in URB 2K14. It wont work for 2k13.

URB pretty much has Jay Z removed from every area possible to be modded, graphics, soundtrack, etc.

I've tried the same thing. Even removing them didn't work for me. I know, it's just pressing start after two seconds. But in 2K14, when you hate Lebron James, hearing him with his awful melodramatic acting saying, "Basketball... isn't-" gets annoying real fast.

Swap them with other versions and replace the file
