The Knicks are also in a visible rebuild getting rid of so many vets and talent. Though odd they aren't collecting picks. I suppose that is 2K for you.

Phil89 wrote:It always interests me how drafts are handled in retro games. Do you use the scouting reports available at the time to judge the prospects, or just draft using the knowledge of how these players actually turned out in real life?
For example, will Kwame Brown be the #1 pick again and will Tony Parker be a late first rounder
wdt92 wrote:The draft summary is a really great idea! If I had more of a scout ability, I think I would've stolen it. I really like how you kept the sleepers realistic to the time with TP being a sleeper, etc. That's really cool. It keeps it real and allows a real breakout.
Something unrelated to the report I've been thinking about reading through the draft report: will you follow the real-life change of allowing illegal defenses after this year? Or, are you already ahead of the game and have zones and such there already? I ask because as other teams should go down with their isolation offenses having as much dominance (Lakers, as an example, had their two stars decrease percentages and/or shot attempts from 2001-2004 in real life as the changes really impacted the ways they are defended), the Trail Blazers don't rely on that style of offense. You guys are actually pretty prepped for the change. Depending on how this year goes, there are also a great crop of talent coming in which would benefit you as well.
