You know how things are run at MSG, Andrew...shift blame, and cover your own ass.

Even if the blade falls on Mills and Perry as well, the biggest problem - Dolan - still remains.

Listening to Patrick Ewing with Joe & Evan on WFAN earlier nearly brought a tear to my eye....back when the Knicks were a real franchise instead of the dumpster fire they've been for 20 years. Like Phil Simms, I wish I would have appreciated him more.....I miss those days.

Seeing Ewing in a Sonics jersey is still one of the weirdest sights I can remember watching the NBA growing up.

And so, Fizdale is out. No surprises there, though it's hardly all his fault.

Only one Knicks head coach has a winning record with the team since the Jeff Van Gundy days: Mike Woodson.

Knicks made David Fizdale the fall guy, Of course nothing will change - the roster is still flawed. Like Reggie Miller & Kendrick Perkins said, Fizdale isn't the only one who needs to be shown the door. Steve Mills must have audio tape of James Dolan saying the N-word. The fact he's lasted this long shows how inept the front office is.

YouTube suggested a video of the last two minutes of the Linsanity game in Toronto and I rewatched it. Man, I remember that period of time was so exciting for basketball fans, not just Knicks fans.

It's crazy to think that the most entertaining Knicks team of the last decade was a rag tag group featuring Chandler, Amare, Jared Jeffries, Landry Fields, Lin, Shumpert, and Novak

It doesn't matter what the date of the last post in this thread Says the story is still the same...

Knicks suck, butttt I actually like that there making ways to invest more in less of a "win now" roster and develop young players. I've said this a million times but New York isn't a rebuild city or should I say the city moves fast that people expect fast results but I think over the last 5 years iam slowly starting to see a change in patients with the teams development and iam looking forward to see us drop some of the dead weight at the trade deadline and move forward as long as we don't make a stupid "win now" type of deal at the deadline that just takes us back to where we started again

I love the Sell The Team chants there.

They need to send V Stiviano in to record some racist shit from Dolan

It feels like that's the only way he's getting ousted, sadly.

Those idiots chanting "sell the team" are part of the problem. Instead of boycotting, they keep filling MSG. Dolan has their money, so who gets the last laugh?

Until Dolan realises HE'S the reason for this franchise being a 20 year dumpster fire, and hires smart basketball people to run the front office, player scouting/development, it'll be 20 more years of this garbage.

That is true that folks filling MSG are part of the problem, but at the same time I don't think Dolan gives a shit if they played in an empty building. He's either that oblivious or cares that little about the team

Steve Mills is O-U-T! Yay, but it's just the first step.

Ujiri would be a great hire if they can pull that off, though it obviously isn't possible until after next season.

I don't know what to think about Leon Rose as the Knicks new team president (with World Wide Wes joining him as a consultant). He has no experience as a GM...you have to scout, draft smart and develop a young, solid core of players, so that the stars will want to come here. Will Rose do what Phil Jackson couldn't? Or will he hire the right folks to do that job?

“Toronto Raptors, they brought in Drake to bring that thing,” he said. “The New York Knicks brought in me.”

With all due respect to Drake, I'd suggest Ujiri had a much bigger hand in that. The Knicks need their own Ujiri (or the man himself), not their own Drake. As I said before though, unfortunately for the Knicks, he's still under contract for another season.

I agree with WFAN's Mike Francesca....Dolan should have fired this assclown TODAY for making those statements about the coach. He has no say in personnel - WTF is he running his mouth about the coaching staff for? Instead, Dolan throws out paying customers who tell him the truth about what he's done to this franchise.

Andrew, I refuse to believe Bulls management is as pathetic as what we have in NY. Can it get any lower than this???? All you hear from the Knicks is marketing and branding, not winning. There is no hope.

If nothing else, the public toxicity puts the Knicks' management ahead, though I don't think the Bulls' brass are that much better these days. A lot of low cards in the hand, and all that.
