Magic want to trade.

The Orlando Magic have figured out they aren't going to win the East this year without the play of Grant Hill. Without Hill the Magic are just another sub-par Eastern team.
The Magic have made several offers to the Washington Wizards to see if they have given up on Kwame Brown, but so far the Wiz have not budged. The Magic's best offer being two fist round picks and cash. The only way they see a deal being made with Washington is if Mike Miller is included. Another player on the Washington roster, Etan Thomas is also been chased to give the Magic some more size.
Another player the Magic are showing interest in is Portland's Antonio Daniels. They hope to pick him up cheaply because of the Blazers depth at guard. He would give them scoring off the bench and give them a variety of backcourts to run.
If all else fails the Magic are even looking towards signing a veteran or free agent that brings some size and scoring to the table.

Kwame would probably be an upgrade over Garrity in terms of rebounding and post play, but he's still been too inconsistent since a few promising games at the start of the season. Etan Thomas would probably be better than DeClercq backing up forward and centre, at least until Hunter returns.

Daniels would be a good addition as he can play both guard spots, but I don't think the Magic should give up Mike Miller just yet. Though he seems to disappear in some games, he's been decent when stepping in for Hill, who will likely be unavailable at times for the rest of the season.

Definately not a good move getting rid of Miller. He has been the only consistent scorer for the Magic (apart from TMac). The Magic are also aware that continually putting Miller on the trading block can't be good for his confidence or relationship with the team.

How about Garrity on the trading block? He can provide scoring sometimes, but he doesn't contribute as much in terms of rebounding and D.

How about Garrity on the trading block?

Would be a good idea, but would he have any trade value because of his one dimensional game?

There's probably a team who could use some instant offense/big man with range, and would be willing to give up a decent defender in return. He probably wouldn't attract any offers of another starter though.
