Hi Looyh, i just want to ask, i've placed NBA Hook in the game directory & i enabled the GUI Menu.. when i press F8 nothing happens.. GUI doesn't appear in the game.. what should i do?

Same here. Maybe this mod is above my grade scale. Followed the directions, hit F8, nothing......

guys you do not need the GUI to make the tool work. It has been stated many times here.
Just change what you need in the Config file.

Make sure you have the hook installed. Restart the game. Make sure you have named your face.iff and png.iff files correctly and add them to the waigua / modded folder. Assign the cyberface in game. The face will show up if you have done everything right.

Also you don't have to name the file png20000.iff you can use a smaller CF ID number.

Yup, that's what I tried to do but still no dice. I even tried different IDs.

that means you did something wrong. Try making sure everything is enabled in the config file.

I know we dont need the GUI, but for those not having it show up, try holding the “function key” (FN) and pressing F8, the GUI just showed up for me.

Is it possible to load specific courts file for specific jerseys therefore , we can have more then two courts per team or even more

had some free time last weekend, so used your TNT texture and did some quick edits. dds and psd attached to this post.

Do what you want with it. If i can have your permission, i am going to put it into 2k18 tnt scoreboard.

Been on the road for work too much this year. Didn't have much time to work on it.
It's not perfect... my reference picture was not super good. Hopefully you will improve it --- just like always.

Highlight layer isn't perfect .... might have to increase the opacity.

My computer needs some maintenance, and i will be back into the modding shoes again...i just have one question about this tool

Can you unlock player shoes, if one player is fixed with jordan and allow player to choose different brand?

You can do that importing the DNA of the player you want to change over other who wears that brand Marvin.

You can't just move the scoreboard, you have to edit mostly all values.

I've Tried this, the NewScorebug.VCUIELEMENT is working with the combination of Looyh - 2K20 FOX_Scoreboard V1
just like to ask if there's a way to show only the Team Name City
for example the scoreboard is showing LOS ANGELES LAKERS

i want to see only LOS ANGELES in the scoreboard name, any help will do thanks

IMO i think it should be possible this year to find it, because before a game we have city + team name ; in 2K18/19 no screen showed this information.

the format of the vcui files is a lot different now somehow.
or maybe because I am looking at StartingLineupOverlayLowerThird.VCUIELEMENT it is different.
the value to swap out is much further down than before, I was able to take a good guess and figure out where the value was that I needed to find to swap out
then since TEAM_NAME2 doesn't even show up in the file by searching the crc32 I just had to hope the next possible value would be the next team and I was right
good thing I used my pattern coloring from last year to look at this. the value D1 E6 9E 42 must mean text values so every next 4 bytes after 4 blank bytes are the values you are looking to swap out

**extra info - so 2 of the 4 gray values are that block that represents text values and the other 2 are actually barlow_bold_condensed CRC32=5D51C53D
maybe this could be used to change the font on scoreboard, maybe the value to swap isn't 5D51C53D but could be one of the next blocks of data of 4 bytes idk interesting though**


so after some educated guesses

yeah that says milwaukee bucks in there but it is on the wrong side so I swapped the wrong one

brooklyn nets in the right place and milwaukee bucks now in the right place

from here you can take the VCUI file and place it into whatever scoreboard you are working on. This one isn't designed for that obviously haha
you can then use the SCNE file and edit those options meant for the tricode text to clip the words to the next line or clip the width and all those types of options and you should be able to figure out how to get the names to show like
BROOKLYN
NETS

then you clip the height or new line so that NETS doesn't show up and so it will only be display the first word which is city name like you wanted

if you find something that is more specifcally just the city name only so that you won't have to clip or account for variables with length of possible combinations of team and city names then I will take a look at it but for 2k18 this is what I did to get the scoreboards to show city name.

I do actually hope that there is a better option out there like TEAMCITY_NAME1(made this name up) or something like that but I don't know where that would be

Question about the "Roster Custom Data" Function.

1) Do I have to do this again every time I start the game or do I have to do it just once and it sticks?
2) Does this work in MyLeague Online, too?
