I think think there would be plenty of people who would purchase an upgrade and iam sure EA already has the art work ready to go as iam guessing nba live 20 on current gen was almost finished but hey who really knows the answer to that one as EA sometimes thinks there the FBI or something keeping there cards close to there chest.

It needs to be a lot more than "plenty of people" for them to make that much of a commitment to a Live 19 DLC upgrade (With 2019 rookies, transactions, etc). Unfortunately, I dont think you will get that.

However, my gut tells me that we will probably get a Live 21 release for PS4 and X1, as next gen is not launching until December of 2020, and PS4 and X1 will still be around and played for awhile.

If that's the case il probably just wait till the ps5 release as I think EA would rather hold off releasing in September or October when they can smash out a next gen title just a couple of months later

I could see them foregoing a PS4/X1 release in favour of next gen, as they did with NBA Live 14. Hopefully they don't repeat the same mistakes, as it only set them back further after the NBA Elite 11 debacle.

Honestly I don't see a reason for them to do another PS4 game if they've already skipped 20. Might as well put those efforts towards PS5, which I heard is pretty similar for coding etc so it should be an easier transition than from 3 to 4

Either way, I think there needs to be more transparency, and hype. Get people excited about the comeback of NBA Live, when it's in a state to show.

They should bring 21, if there is one (and I'm not so sure EA hasn't given up on basketball), to PC.

There are rumours of a PC release based on a recent job listing. Nothing confirmed as yet, though.

Good. I'm trying to get rid of the PS4 and will only buy games for PC in the future.
