Oh I really like this concept. I would love to play the game in 2k cam then have highlights in broadcast cam. I don’t work with CE but if someone more advanced would run with this idea I’d be so very grateful.

That's a good idea for sure but I was talking about replays like in a replay editor. It would be truely amazing that we'd be able to save a dunk from exact same points of views as in real life. I mean : just behind the glass, from the cameraman's sitting on the floor angle, etc. It's basically not possible right now, what a shame !

Kinda like this cool camera view.
TNT also has a cool one that sits on top of the backboard or right above it.
gregotin wrote:Yes I think your videos is a good exemple. It's currently the more realistic you can have with the game. In this top 10, you can see that there is the action in broadcast camera and then 2 or 3 times the same action with different angles (Sitting cameraman view for example) + slowmotion sometimes. That's what I tried to have (and you too I guess).

I don't know if you guys are familiar with skates games but the replay editor system they have would be perfect for 2K20. Basically you can be in free cam mode and add keys to guide the camera. The result is very close to real skate videos. In SkaterXL, it's the modders who create the replay editor as the developing team of the game didn't put one in the game.
I'm not a modder myself sadly. I just started modding team floors last year for a 2011 season but in a very basic way following tutorials I found here.

I will probably never know what all of these numbers/values mean
If you break something and change a default value don't blame me you do all of this at your own risk
backup your settings and userdata files
don't send me messages about how you messed up your camera settings
Don't assume anything in this table is labelled correctly
again this is a work in progress / incomplete / early project
the one good example I can show is changing focal length here you can see how the focal length changes the way it looks
2K view has a starting/normal/default focal length of 35. 35 is a default basic focal length for pretty much many things just life in general
Focal length of 55 in 2K view looks like this:

Focal length of 25 in 2K view looks like this:

here is basically what you will be looking at
I've only really put descriptions for 2K view and even then I do not know what I am trying to describe
you will have to mess with these things and figure out what they do
so have fun but again do all this with caution

For some reference numbers here some numbers in blender
