no but a much better all around player than shaq will ever be. plus wallace has nice shooting style. he was popping jumpers in the finals. and he was good at getting the steal on shaq with the wrap around.

Shaq can play offense and defense, and also grab rebounds. Ben Wallace can play defense and grab rebounds. He is not a better all round player than Shaq, he's in the Mutombo category.

Also, Shaqs rebounding and blocked shots aren't too far off Ben Wallace.

Another interesting stat: Ben Wallace has scored 3309 points in his entire career, in the 1993-1994 season Shaq scored 2377, and 2315 in the 1994-1995 season... so basically, as far as scoring goes Shaq scored more points in 2 seasons than Ben Wallace has in his entire 8 season career. When you take into account the rebounds/blocks etc how on Earth is Ben Wallace a better all round player than Shaq?
