It's the fact that when it gets to you, your player is often forced into an animation where the only option is to pass or accept the jump ball or steal. Most times it feels like you are sucked into the double team, followed by being cemented in place.
I like the fact that they double, honestly. It's pretty aggressive, but it makes sense if you are killing the other team with one player. I think the mechanics around it are more the problem. I would score with Tatum like 5 times in a row, and on the 6th possession I would give it to him on the elbow, and right when he caught the ball the CPU turboed a second defender into him, and immediately a stealing animation happened. This does happen in real life at times, but I guess I can agree that the speed in which the double team comes is a little unrealistic, and the canned animation it causes and loss of control at times can be frustrating.
