Orlando had a great season that year despite Shaq missing all those games. We'll see if they can hold up just as well in this reality!

 My bad, for whatever reason it didn't click "this is all influenced by real life" means that injuries too would be influenced by real life.

Yeah, they did have a great season that year, it will be a tougher season for Orlando in the game (more than likely), I think. Though, since you've done your own roster edits, I don't know for sure how the numbers look for the roster. Nick Anderson was going strong in this last game, that's for sure!

Magic really are holding the forth down without Shaq! Love the Grant Hill player card! One of the best while he was healthy. Pity the Magic doctors ruined his ankle.

Grant Hill was one of my favorites, all around player. High vertical jump and good ball handling skills that helped his attack game. His mid range and long range jumper were his weaknesses aside from the pesky injuries.

They will host the winless Cavs in their next game, hopefully they win.

Nick Anderson kinda redeemed himself with this game after he committed a stupid foul against Kevin Edwards' 3-point attempt that cost them the game versus the Nets.

I am not only using actual injuries but also actual minutes played in the game. This helps me feel the game more realistic and adjust the player tendencies and attributes accordingly. Maybe after this I can create another story line, let AI simulate the injuries and with "what if", like what if Jordan decided to join his good friend Charles Barkley in Phoenix after losing in 1995 playoffs, what if Rodman went back to Pistons instead to give Grant Hill the rebounding presence they need.

Pacers got their 2nd straight loss as Kings outscored Pacers in the last 3:51 of the game, Kings made a 17-7 run to win 105-97, 11 points coming from Walt Williams. Pacers had the lead after Mark Jackson made a good pass to Reggie Miller for a drive and dunk. 6 players from Sacramento Kings were in double digits led by Mitch Richmond's 19 points, compared to Pacers' 2 only led by Reggie Miller's 27 points. Kings also outscored the Pacers in the paint 34-26 same with bench points 58-48.

Sacramento rookie Tyus Edney is 1 assist shy from double-double. He finished with 13 points and 9 assists, completely outplayed Pacers rookie Travis Best.

"We just wish him (Rik) to be ok but we definitely need his offense and defense. " Reggie said. "Their bench played big and provided quality minutes to rest their starting five. Richmond and Williams where clutch when Kings needed them." coach Larry Brown said.

Indiana Pacers are sorely missing the services of their big man Rik Smits who suffered a slight concussion in a vehicular accident when he was thrown from an all-terrain vehicle last August 10, 1995. The 7-foot-4-inch Dutchman Smits averaged a career-high 17.9 points per game for the Pacers last season.

MINNESOTA
Portland Trailblazers made 12 3-pointers in the 1st half and buried the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves.

"We are not taking chances, Minnesota defeated the Lakers and that's a great team. This is a good win for us after losing 3 straight and up against the greatest player of all time tomorrow. I don't want another shrug happening again, no time to rest." Cliff Robinson said who finished with game high 29 pointsa and drained 4 3-points. Trailblazers shot 74% in the 1st quarter and 57% in the 2nd quarter.

Portland not only dominated offense but also defense, they have 11 blocks in the game led by Chris Dudley with 5 blocks, 2 blocks shy from his career best in 1992 against the Milwaukee Bucks as a member of the New Jersey Nets. "I'm glad to do be able to do that again. I am really working hard with my defense." Dudley said.

Isaiah Rider led the Timberwolves with 22 points and while Christian Laettner only had 12 points because of foul trouble. "Looks like everyone woke up at the right side of bed for Portland while it's not the same with us. They are a good shooting them already, it gets crazy when you have 12 3 points in the 1st half with hands in their face" Christian Laettner said.

"We will be in Houston tomorrow, so we need to do quick adjustments, we don't want the same story to be printed" Coach Bill Blair said.

Minnesota rookie Kevin Garnett was impressive again, catching 3 alley oops and 2 blocks. "Terry and I had good connection there, he is a good point guard, we will bounce back" Portland's own rookie Aaron Mckie finished with 17 points and was perfect beyond the arc with 3 3-pointers.

Yeah, KG's nasty welcoming message. Blazers needs this kind of win to give them the confidence against the undefeated Bulls.

Philadelphia

Jerry Stackhouse finally had his first break out game as a rookie after scoring 29 points. But Glen Rice and Larry Johnson had other plans after they dominated the 76ers in the 3rd quarter as they scored 28 and 25 points respectively.

"Stack was great, he is now becoming the player we hoped he would be. He works hard every practice. We just have to find our chemistry soon." Coach John Lucas said.

"He (Glen Rice) welcomed me and showed a lot of moves I should be ready to guard. He just keeps on shooting and never lose his confidence." Stackhouse said.

Philadelphia is still winless after 4 outings while Charlotte made it 4 straight wins after losing opening game against the Bulls.

"LJ has been unbelievable. Because of his skills, I can move anywhere and have good looks. He is not afraid to against bigger guys. First it was 7'7" Georghe then it's Bradley's turn now" said Glen Rice.

SAN ANTONIO

Milwaukee Bucks just completed it's Texas Triangle road trip, dropping the last two.

"We have 3 days to fix our third quarter, we will them again next week Tuesday and protect home. We are always outscored and our field goal percentage was below 40%." Coach Dunleavy said.

San Antonio Spurs defeated Milwaukee Bucks 107-98. Glenn Robinson finished with 18 points way below his average of 26.8 ppg while Vin Baker had 11 points only against his 21.8 ppg.

"I am proud with our coaching staff, the game plan was spot on to control Vin and Glenn. The rotation on defense was fast and we got them covered. Thanks to Avery, the smallest guy with the biggest impact, keeps on finding his open team mate. Will (Purdue) gave me enough time to rest, grabbing those 10 boards. " David Robinson said who had 2 blocks, 3 steals on top of his 21 points shooting 67% on the field.

Sean Elliott is playing at an All-Star level averaging 31.0 ppg, finished with 37 points and shadowing Glenn Robinson and Todd Day the whole game.

Spurs will travel to Cleveland before facing the Bucks again in 4 days.

TORONTO

A.C. Green has played 578 straight games and there's no sign of stopping, in fact the Iron Man just made a game winner three point shot against expansion team Toronto Raptors, Suns are now 3-2.

"It's always a great feeling to do something like that." Green said. The last winnning shot made by Green was a tip in against the Houston Rockets in 1991-92 season. Green shot 33.9% FG from three last years, his 2nd best since the 1993 season. "I have always been confident with my jumper. Coach Paul designed the right play, with Charles on top, Elliott will try to drive to be the decoy, to pass either to me or Chuck." Green added.

Rookie Damon Stoudamire struggled in the 1st half but came out strong in the 2nd half. finished with 19 points and 11 assists.

Back up point guard Elliott Perry, started for Kevin Johnson who is nursing a groin injury, spoiled the hope of Raptors fans to get it's second win, scoring 20 points and dishing 12 assists, including the kick out pass to A.C. Green.

"It was a team effort, I like how our pick and roll worked especially at the end. John (Williams) and Joe (Kleine) worked tirelessly in doing that." Perry said during the locker interview.

Suns shot a woeful 32% in the 1st half, reason why Raptors have a 9-point lead at the end of 1st half, 14 points was the biggest margin of Raptors. Suns was able to make it up in the 4th as they score 37 points, shot 71% on FG.

"He (Elliott) carried us tonight, we were down most part of the game. It could have been easier but we will take the win." Barkley said.

Kind of unexpected, though I had to go back and check, and it seems Green was knocking down a few threes during the mid 90s, including a career high total of 43 in the 1995 season. Not so far-fetched, after all!

Yeah, A.C. adjusted his gameplay and added shooting 3s. I think it was the start that forwards started shooting 3s since the great Larry Bird retired.
