Borderlands 2 was free on PS+ so I played it for a few hours. It's a fine game, but I just found myself wanting to replay New Vegas for the tenth time. This time I'm trying it on PC, since the game is old enough for mid-tier laptops to run it at super high settings with mods.

Does anyone have experience playing with mods? Right now I'm working on improving the graphics and maintaining stability, but soon want to make some UI improvements and add some content.

I haven't played with any mods, which I guess is a waste of having the PC version in many respects! I too would be open to suggestions as far as content is concerned. I did see a nifty one previewed on YouTube some time back, that added Frank Horrigan from Fallout 2 in a bunker as a special bonus boss fight. It looked pretty well done.

I've also heard of a mod that combines Fallout 3 and New Vegas in a continuous story, which sounds awesome.

Guys, have you try Project Brazil / Fallout: New California ? https://www.moddb.com/mods/falloutprojectbrazil
I tried it more than 1 year ago, it was pretty amazing but unfinished.
