I downloaded Cheat Engine 6.7 along with the Cheat Tables. I followed the tutorials, but CE doesn't read the player files from 2K19 where I can make edits. The values display as '??'. I found that some CE tutorials are for Steam engine NBA2K19 and others don't specify. I'm not sure if the cheat tables here are not compatible with Steam version of NBA 2K19. Currently, I'm using Steam to play NBA 2K19. Do I need to buy a physical copy of 2k19 or do something else? Please offer me your recommendations so I can solve this issue or gear me to the version of NBA 2k19 that will be compatible with the cheat tables. Thank you in advance!

If i have a steam copy and i DL 1.06 exe version, does it still work properly? Or do I have to do something to lock bin files?
Thanks Sticky Fingers and Andrew for your responses. I downloaded codex 1.05, 1.06, and 1.07 and install 1.05 and 1.06 into common files. My connection to Steam server was interrupted and roster files saved as codex. When I opened NBA 2K19 in CE and opened edit player table, the player's information does match that of the player that I'm looking to edit. Any suggestions to help me would be appreciated. Thanks.
