I'd be interesting in helping where possible. Right now I dont actually have a home PC that can run 2k19, thats why im limited. But I have alot of knowledge/notes to share. I feel this mod is very important, heres why: as we get further away from these years, the amount of people with true knowledge of the era who are still in the community shrinks. Highlight clips and stat lines can only tell us so much. Also the people with a true passion to recreate the era of their youth. For example, many early-mid 2000's era mods are becoming more popular now, because those kids are becoming teensand young adults. I think us in the community who are 80's/early 90's NBA fans have a responsibility to put this work out there so it stands for years to come. It's why I was so excited when you were tackling it

Importing music for the jukebox doesn't work in the 2K19. We would need a new explorer tool, as the language within the tool is not written the same as 2K17 in that regard.

I tried it both way, importing through explorer, and creating a folder within the modded folder. Neither work.

I believe Jordan also wore retro 7 during the 1992 nba season...

Check the version of the game you have. You must play with the exe 1.06 and the manifest 1.06.

Jordan started the season with the VI until the all star game. He used to change his shoes version at this time of the year...

The biggest functionality change is uniforms now load up correctly when choosing a team or when you save a game, then reload it. Previously if you saved a game and reloaded it, everyone was wearing 76ers home jerseys. Everything now works as they should. You will need to re-download roster for these changes to be implemented. Unfortunately this will impact myleagues as well. If it helps, I've started over 4-5 times now, haha.


General:
- All stadiums now have retro jumbotrons.
- LEDs have now been removed from all stadiums.

- Modern Good & Plenty dorna has been replaced by an IBM dorna for the Bulls.
- Bulls now have Black shoes with white as it's secondary colour.

Did you use cheat engine to assign the cyberface ids, or did you overwrite some of the fictional faces?just looking to do similar with some coaches on a roster i'm working on. Thanks.

We used the base IDs for everyone's cyberface, although some players have multiple IDs that we could have possibly used like Greg Anthony. You can find them here:

As for the coaches, here is a table that was originally made by ksmiz that I used changed a bit.

What shoe colour fixes would those be again?

All black socks should be removed.

For sneakers, Very few teams wore black sneakers AT ALL, and when they did it was in the playoffs, and it was always with white socks.

Just one example I've seen directly, The Pacers shouldnt have black socks/black sneakers.

Sneakers should be set to White Primary across the board for home and away. Go in and Add black sneakers in the playoffs if you want for the Knicks, Bulls, Sixers, Pacers, Heat, etc. These were always worn with white socks however.


One exception:

The Boston Celtics should not ever wear White Sneakers in this era

Black Sneakers and White socks home and away for the Celtics

Teams did not wear Team Color sneakers in that era. It was white snakers, with maybe a hint of the team's primary color in it. A small handful of players had their signature sneakers of course, btu they still adheared to the league uniform rules.



Otherwise the Celtics, Its an across the board fix and a pretty easy one, at least it was in 2k14-prior.

Please fix this for us and hopefully kill this legacy issues for retro mods once and for all!

It seems like you're not using the v1.06 exe and v1.06 manifest file because all those things have been fixed and only work if you use v1.06.

You will also need to download the roster again.

Looks like the v1.1 playnow version "1992 SEASON" hasn't been uploaded yet... so that is probably why. Looking into this.
