College Hoops 2K8 Region Locked

I waited 2 years to buy this game and I paid 60 euro for it but now its unplayable because I live in Ireland and I have a PAL console


Can anyone help my situation or know a fix?

Xbox 360, I take it? You're out of luck, unfortunately. I had to miss out on all the college games last generation too, because Australia is also a PAL region and I was on 360. PlayStation 3 is region free, though. If I can pick up a PS3 relatively cheaply I might see if I can get hold of those NCAA basketball games without spending too much money, but I have other financial priorities at this juncture.

I've often wondered this. I've been scouring the internet trying to find ways to play either College Hoops 2k8 or NCAA Basketball 10. Ideally I can find a way of getting them on PC, as I don't have PS3.

A modded Xbox 360 is Region free and can have a custom os running the dash iard in some cases depending on what you want. You can also download and run Xbox 360 Isos from a USB.

Modded Consoles don't mean you can modify the games I'm afraid just that the actual console has been modified. It's a tedious thing to modify them by the way you'll need to know exactly what your doing.
