What MJ listened to before the game:

What NBA players listen to before games today: complete and utter dog shit; '80s and '90s seemed so much more sincere compared to now. Super envious I didn't get to spend my best years in that era.

I knew that MJ listened that song ; but i'm not a fan of this kind of 80/90's sound :? For me, it's like Celine Dion. Powerfull voice but no emotion and awful music.
So we can say that MJ has bad tastes for music, clothes and draft picks

Oh God; I totally respect your opinion, but couldn't disagree more. It was a #3 song at the time, which took me aback. That makes me proud, as there's really no identifiable catchy hook.

I love her singing in some abandoned factory with a bunch of windows; reminds me of some weird '90s Space Jam thing. It's just the total opposite of today's culture. I think she's got some soul in those vocals, and it's an unorthodox vocal.

This is another Anita song I love:

I understand why the 'sound' and chord structure of this music could make people uncomfortable, but this kind of music is honestly what I live for. I actually discovered the track as it was bonus on the famous 'Macintosh Plus 420' LP:

Nah, just a generational thing. It happens all the time. Even kids now will grow old and feel the same way to the generation that follow them.

Unless I've misunderstood, cavs4872 is actually lamenting that he wasn't part of that generation, so kind of the opposite of that.

Taste is not a generational thing.
I barely never listened music from my era, cos IMO it sucks.

It's not that "classic" at all, but I was looking for a video that best resembles JJ Barea.

He is still killing it at age 34 and not even 6 feet tall. He is again leading the Dallas bench and with him on the floor the team is just better. I admire how he rarely gets blocked and is so clever at finding angles so that defenders cannot reach his shot. Vs the Nets in 2015 he stepped up big.

With Dirk likely stepping down soon, I found out that Barea is probably the Mav that I most admire (Jet in a way killed it by being a journeyman at the end of his career - but he was a top tier player for the Mavs, too).

Glad Barea came back. For a fan, he is a Mav legend. (Y)

On a small note: Dirk decided that game like an old man does :D

I've watched this game 5 times now. Mark Price is incredibly underrated, he was such a good player.

That Bulls team (And his first 3 championship teams) were not deep at all, but Jordan himself was spectacular. Pippen still looked raw here.

IMO Pippen till 92 is raw, btw he's rarely mentioned as a 2nd option in commentaries.

PS : There's few but some good stuff on this channel.

I can get behind that.

Watching a lot of old games, you can see that Pippen seldom created for himself. He was kind of a James Worthy-esque player at that time, but he handled the ball more as a facilitator. However, he would get his points in a very similar way to Worthy, mostly out on the break or a quick catch and go.

It's painful to watch Blake as a 3 point shooter now, also miss his explosive days too!

Listen to some of these stories.

Larry legend is in my all-time starting 5, easily. Combine his mental toughness with his will to win, his elite basketball mind, and his ridiculous basketball talent, and you have one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

Ive seen plenty of tape on Bird but I wish I'd had the chance to watch at least one season of him in his prime, when I started watching the nba in 90/91 he was still a great player but looking back on it now it was more like watching Wade play now only Larry was still putting up good numbers I remember seeing him getting treatment everytime he went to the bench and you could see he had back issues that last year. Due to the limit nba coverage back then in the UK I only got to see maybe 5 games in his last couple of seasons that he played in, that being said I lived through the entire of Jordans prime, Kobe's and Lebron's so I can't complain.

This isn't a classic video but it was entertaining to watch, ESPN threw together a quick "Searching for JR Smith" video
