It's a cool trailer, and I like that they've been influenced by NBA Street Homecourt with their approach to the world tour in The Streets. However, I'm really more interested in the NBA side of things: realistic, sim-oriented gameplay, Franchise mode, and Ultimate Team. The Streets is their hook and it makes sense that it's being pushed, but I hope the rest of the game has received adequate attention. It is NBA Live, after all.

Interesting that Allen Iverson has such a prominent role after years of being one of the faces of NBA 2K (being their original cover player, and all). Embiid is obviously the other player from the NBA Live Squad who's been revealed so far, so it'll be interesting to see who else is part of it, and whether it includes the fictional Stretch from NBA Street.

Hopefully soon, I guess because it's the summer, they're pushing their Pro Am Tour

Yup cool trailer indeed. And those HQ pics are astounding, like how Live does their courts and their lighting is the best. If the issues of Live 18 are addressed and the gameplay has improved so much I will definitely buy this game. The court in the Philippines is also a plus for me. :D

That's a good point, too.

Thanks for sharing the screens!

I wish 2K19 had these courts and it was matchmaking.

Play Live.

Live has proven to get plenty of run online/with people. I see it constantly on Twitter. You will also get better graphics, and probably a better feeling game this year.

I am sure they will release more info regarding NBA itself soon. It's a off season so they are using it to promote The Streets more.
I don't know about you guys, but I am really hyped for this years NBA Live, and I really hope that they will beat 2K for best basketball game this year.

I'm feeling quite optimistic and am looking forward to it. I've really enjoyed NBA Live 18, even though there was still some roughness and plenty of room for improvement, and all the buzz for NBA Live 19 has been positive so far.

I got Live 18; I probably spend about 5% of the time I spend on 2K18 with it. I know it's cliché, but its robotic gameplay just keeps drawing me back to 2K.

I'll probably double-dip again this year; I always give it a chance, but it always wears out quick. By the time I'm ready to try it out it's always cheaper as well.

All I know is with RPM, lateral quickess, twists and turns will be much better in Live. Judging 2K based on the ton of game play that's out, Live's motion system is right there with it IMO. 2K might have more animations, but with RPM the blending of animations is key to ensure smoother game play. I've been playing a ton of FIFA and if Live's motion system can duplicate that, only good things can go from there.

RPM does seem like it's shaping up to be a game changer.

Sorry guys, what's RPM :D?

But I got to say, I had more fun playing live 18 than I did 2k18,especially online with friends. And I see Live 19 is clearly going to be an improvement so I am just waiting for the demo and if I am going to like how it feels it is a preorder for me

In this context it's short for Real Player Motion, tech that's shared across various EA Sports titles this year.

Yeah, at the NHL event last week, I've never seen those NHL game changers hype up the game play like they've been doing. All because of RPM.

Why 2K can't make this kind of court? Definitely going to buy Live 19 for a change, sick and tired of the same graphics 2K has :?
