Had the day off work today, randomly turned this on and can't count the number of times I said to myself "Wtf am I watching?" Didn't know this was a thing.

Cool concept nonetheless; usually players retire and you never see them play again.

My enthusiasm for it has died down a bit but I'll definitely watch the playoffs to see who wins

Anybody watching season 2? Cool to see new additions like Metta, Baron, Amar'e, and others.

Looks like Jason Williams isn't playing after last year's injury which is a shame. Cool to see Abdul-Rauf do work as the oldest player in the league. I didn't get to see him play much back in the day. I just know him from Jam and having the best FT rating in Live 95. He even hit the game winner.

ESPN Australia is showing it. I haven't caught any of it yet, but I've recorded it. Abdul-Rauf is and was a tremendous shooter, though. A shame he was kind of forced out of the league.

White chocolate. He injured his knee like the first or second game last year and Abdul-Rauf had to fill in

The shotgun toting Williams is Jayson

Cool to see guys who didn't get much of an NBA run play. Qyntel Woods and Andre Owens come to mind

gotcha. always got the names confused.

ice cube has a good hustle going here. i'm not particularly interested in watching a bunch of graybeards play or failed nba players that won't go overseas for $. but hey, dude got the league on TV and people are going to the venues.

I don't have the time/patience to watch the whole broadcast anymore but 8-10 minute highlight videos on YouTube makes me feel like I watched the whole thing

New season! New additions! I'm glad Lamar Odom is back healthy and he's teamed with No Chill Gil for what could be a very volatile team. Curious to see how Lamar does, but also relatively young players like Larry Sanders and Royce White (who's now fighting MMA as well)

Lots of new players who are blasts from the past like Eddy Curry, Carlos Arroyo, Diawara, Dijon Thompson

I like that they've added a few teams that didn't just make a pun about the number three in their names. Definitely cool to see some familiar names there.

Good to see Larry Sanders back to playing basketball again after he left all of it to deal with his mental health.

Same with seeing Greg Oden back on the court, I thought his knees are gone to even play basketball again.

They missed a trick not having Lamar Odom in the same team as Quentin Richardson and Corey Maggette, and not bringing Darius Miles to join them to form that old Clippers core.

Need the Big3 to sign Andrew Bynum and Michael Olowokandi for next season.

That Clipper reunion would be fun. Too bad Elton Brand's got the 76ers front office gig, he could've joined them.

Yeah I was definitely hoping for a clippers reunion as I was a fan of theirs at the time, but they are on the championship team so they were forced to keep the same team from last year and weren't allowed to draft any players. But I guess it's still possible for them to sign Miles if someone gets hurt

Remembered the name when it popped up on social media. Shot as he was running away as well, so whatever altercation happened, he was removing himself from it. Awful that he's leaving an infant child behind, too. RIP.
