My big board after some weeks and seeing the combine and the private workouts. Teams picking are not in context,:

1. Luka Doncic
  • Floor: Gallinari/Hayward
  • Ceiling: Larry Bird

2. Mohamed Bamba
  • Floor: Clint Capela with crazy length
  • Ceiling: Anthony Davis

3. DeAndre Ayton
  • Floor: Whiteside minus the defense
  • Ceiling: Embiid minus the defense

4. Marvin Bagley
  • Floor: Kenneth Faried
  • Ceiling: Amare Stoudamire/Blake Griffin

5. Trae Young
  • Floor: Shane Larkin
  • Ceiling: Stephen Curry

6. Jaren Jackson Jr
  • Floor: Ibaka
  • Ceiling: Assists-less Al Horford

7. Michael Porter
  • Floor: Out of the league
  • Ceiling: Rudy Gay/Harrison Barnes/Otto Porter

8. Mikal Bridges
  • Floor: Thabo Sefalosha/Trevor Ariza
  • Ceiling: Robert Covington on stereoids

9. Wendell Carter
  • Floor: Robin Lopez
  • Ceiling: Marc Gasol + rebounding and shot blocking

10. Kevin Knox
  • Floor: Reggie Bullock
  • Ceiling: Tobias Harris

11. Miles Bridges
  • Floor: Justin Anderson
  • Ceiling: Wilson Chandler

12. Shai Alexander
  • Floor: Elfrid Payton
  • Ceiling: Ron Harper

13. Zhaire Smith
  • Floor: -
  • Ceiling: CJ McCollum

14. Lonnie Walker
  • Floor: -
  • Ceiling: Robert Covington/Iman Shumpert

15. Robert Williams
  • Floor: -
  • Ceiling: Capela

16. Troy Brown Jr
  • Floor: -
  • Ceiling: Evan Turner

17. Kevin Huerter
18. Donte DiVincenzo
19. Omari Spellman

Other interesting prospects:

- Dzanan Musa
- Khyri Thomas
- Mitchel Robinson (a lot of red flags)

Oh, I remembered wrong. Thanks for correct info :D

I expect a robbery in draft though, the Suns will ascend into mediocrity for at least 5 more years if they fall into an expert GM's trap.

an example: Suns receives veteran solid players + 2023 1st round pick for drafting Michael Porter

So much for Woj not spoiling the picks on Twitter again this year. Even though he is a part of ESPN's coverage, he can't help himself

Mavericks end up with Doncic as rumoured. I'm fine with the Bulls' selection of Carter.

glad somebody's happy, my sixers picked the seemingly perfect player for them, and the guy i wanted, and shipped him off to phoenix for a possible project. poor guy just finished his press conference telling how happy he and his mom were, and she works for the sixers, when they traded him

that's true, but if they don't sign lebron, george or somehow work a trade for kawhi i don't think they really make themselves that much better, if at all. and even with lebron, there may be a problem getting that fit right, good problem to have, but could be a costly one, in wins and money

As a Sixers fan I wanted Bridges too. 6'6 player with a 7' wingspan? Him and Covington would have had the perimeter on lockdown.

Apparently he found a loophole in the league 'request' not to reveal the picks by not using the words "pick (player x)".

I was reading a lot about Zhaire Smith being a great solid defensive guard and how a lot of teams liked him. Trading down for him saves on money they could be spending on free agents. Perhaps Philly felt there wasn't any all-world talent there worth the extra money

Sixers coach and interim GM Brett Brown said Bridges was their first option and Smith second but the Suns adding the Heat’s 2021 unprotected 1st rd pick in their offer is what made the Sixers do the trade.

Their backup draft choice, unprotected pick, save money and cap space by trading down, good trade done by the Sixers.
Only negative is the bad and slow PR from the team, they let Bridges and his mom talk to the media for about half an hour before they were told of the trade. Awkward.

Good trade moves, bad PR image, it’s like Sam Hinkie is back again!
I wish.

I’m rooting for the Heat to suck hard in the 2020-21 season.

Dallas is one of the best places for Doncic given this franchise's history of working with international players. I am really excited for what they have now, might end up cheering for this team by the end of the season.

So nobody is going to talk about the Boston Celtics getting the projected #14 Robert Williams at 27, specially when he is the most perfect fit.

Shameful is what it is. The league seriously needs to step in and do something about that franchise, maybe make Isiah Thomas president and GM and Larry Brown vice president of basketball operations and head coach.

Then we can get the franchise respectable again instead of all this unsportsmanlike dishonorable conduct.

i mentioned to others that either the Sixers or Celtics had to take him just to prevent the Warriors from getting him
