V01D that's ASCII text of the byte data. That's just how it is for a lot of the dropdowns. I changed a bunch of the ones I could figure out but most of them looked like that to start with.

They aren't Chinese characters and the dropdowns that do have Chinese characters I couldn't find (like draft round, handedness, etc.)

Of the ones you outlined I can update all but the peak start and end if anyone tells me what to change it to. If you wanted to do it yourself you'd have to find something like resource tuner to make edits. Or wait till 2030 when scx gives us an update.

Just tested some more stuff with the demo

The demo allows you to save game sliders to a .txt file with the push of a button. The file is saved to the same place where you have the .exe for the demo, so my slider file ended up on my desktop. Then I can just load it up any time.

The demo allows you to save individual player ratings to text files and load them from that file.
You can load save the set of badges to a text file and load them to different players.

I'm short on time so I will just leave this info here.
I will test the MYGM stuff later.

How exactly do you load the player ratings text file to a different player? when I click load sliders to load the saved text file nothing happens....

Do we know if it is fully finished?! In chinese obviously if it is. Holding back on a roster project hoping it will help me finish it off but I dunno if this will be released before 2k19?

Don't hold off on your roster waiting for this tool (or any tool honestly).

Communication has broken down with the creator, we have no idea why the tool is not released at this time.
2 others and myself have asked but we don't have any response at this time. I know the tool is being worked on and the creator is very busy but for now there is no update to provide to anyone.

Which is exactly what I pictured happening. I expand much further on page 2 of this thread, but this has been going on since 2K16.

People getting all jazzed up because preview videos are posted, or screenshots, or screenshots with translations, that they literally won't start a project, or won't finish one, or will wait months for the tool and wind up finishing late.

Before we know what a tool can actually do, or until we KNOW it will be released, I think the videos actually hurt more than they can help. A huge difference between doing a video on a already made/released cyberface to show it off, and a video on a tool that we have no idea if we will get, or even the full functionality of it.

Hopefully people use the resources we already have available to continue modding, or to start new projects. We have solid resources as it is.

I mean the tool isn't complete but it still allows you to do things that you couldn't before especially like change CAP's into real players so you don't have to hear stupid nicknames when creating legends not in the game. It also is the easiest way to edit multiple players. Just because it isn't fully 100% functional doesn't mean it is totally useless. I'd rather have the this test version than none at all. Just my opinion.

True, those are good features.

Between all the tools we have, we can do a lot of great things. We just don't have an all in one tool, and that's fine for now.

be cautious when using this editor, i used it to trade some players on two different franchises, one during the summer league with the summer league rosters loaded and the other in the regular season and after all the changes and reordering the depth charts, both franchises crashed when trying to play the next game. even trying to undue the changes wouldn't make it work again, had to start a new franchise. and it might be a good idea to add the ability to auto reorder rosters in the editor, if it's not already included in some of the non translated tabs
